When you have a vast collection you might get confused. What happens if you try to activate a Steam powered game with a serial of a game you already owned? Does the key get lost? How can you tell if it was used?

  • Possible Duplicate: Installing in games Origin already obtained via Steam Now that I've installed Origin, I have the option of registering some of my other EA games (Dead Space 1 & 2, etc) on it. These are games that I've bought and already activated on Steam. So what exactly happens if I re-register them on Origin? Do they get 'copied' across, so I can play them from either service? Do they get 'moved' across, so they are no longer accessible from Steam? If this is the case, are save games compatible? (I'm guessing they are...) What about Steam achievements? I hope

  • On Darksiders, right before fighting the Stygian boss you can get a Vulgrim location, from which you could go back to the beginning of the Ashland. Since the Stygian is still alive, there should be the Ash titans roaming around (they eat you instantly if you let them too close); however, at this point of the game you already have your horse and therefore you should be able to kill them. Has anybody tried this? What happens in this case?

  • person then simply added Spore onto my Origin account. Later on, I then launched Spore from Origin and it asked me for my serial key. I looked at Game Info of Spore using Origin, and my key... a response from email support: I understand that you are not able to play Spore on your computer. As a gamer myself I understand how frustrating this can be. Unfortunately we cannot support the game with this type of error because the game is no longer being updated for current versions of Windows. They offered a free game instead. But I'm simply looking to get Spore working. Sigh. So my main

  • After completing a series of single player mini-games in Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, you are given more cars to choose to drive. Do the various cars perform differently, or do they all behave the same way and only have visual (aesthetic) differences? I don't see anything in the interface to suggest that they are unique, but why would it progressively open up more cars as you complete the mini-games, if they don't matter to the game play? Wikipedia states that they aren't supposed to have unique stats, but do "behave slightly different." Has anyone figured out what

  • In the game Crysis 2, after the destroying the first Pinger, there is a glitch. I'm at the part when you encounter the first pinger. After I defeat it the wall falls down and 2 jeeps dive out of it. Then some dude gets out the car and my mission is to regroup at him. If I go to him nothing happens, after like 20 min he starts to walk arround abit but nothing more. I read that some other people have the same problem. Is there gonna be a fix for this? I already re├»nstalled the game. I bought via steam.

  • I have a question about computer software, regarding the networking element in games which use GameSpy. Gamespy has announced it will permanently shut down this year. serial authentication, matchmaking and other features will not work because the servers will be offline (unreachable). Is there a way to setup my own server so I still can play all the games I paid for? As CD-Key authentication won't work I probably won't be able to play a few of my games, is that right? When this happens is it legal to use cracks? Or is there any software which will allow me to setup a GameSpy-like server
