    I'm trying to lower the mouse sensitivity in Fallout 3 to an acceptable level.

    I have done the following changes to my fallout.ini file:

    ForegroundMouseAccelBase=0
    fForegroundMouseAccelTop=0
    fForegroundMouseBase=0
    fForegroundMouseMult=0

    The only thing I can find that regards the sensitivity is fMouseSensitivity, found in falloutprefs.ini. Changing this seems to make no difference to the menu sensitivity.

    Anyone know what I need to change?

  • I use Linux Mint 14 (64-bit) and I'm trying to get mouse support in Dwarf Fortress. In my init.txt I have: [MOUSE:YES] [MOUSE_PICTURE:NO] However I have no mouse functionality in the game itself. • It seems like in pretty much every game (examples are Skyrim, Deus Ex HR, Borderlands 2, CoD: Black Ops, PlanetSide 2, Far Cry 3), I have to reduce the mouse sensitivity slider to zero or almost zero, and rarely, even that's still too sensitive. I use a logitech G700 mouse, on the medium ( 3 out of 5) hardware sensitivity setting. This setting works fine in windows (and games where I'm just... don't have all that extra software for the mouse installed. I just let windows auto detect and install a driver for it. In Windows, I use the fourth-lowest sensitivity, and have "Enhance Pointer

  • I was wondering if anyone knew a way that allows me to change mouse settings per mouse (device) and per game (or program). I recently brought a new curse input device (trackball :P) but still like to swap to the old mouse every now and then. But they have different sensitivities. So one mouse needs to be a certain sensitivity and the other, a different one. However, with games it becomes more complicated as they scale differently. I don't want to change in-game sensitivity as that will compromise the settings for the other mice.

  • I've installed Skyrim on my Intel 4000 CPU/CPU based Ubuntu system via PlayOnLinux (latest as of today, tried with wine ~1.5 and ~1.6 rc 1). When I load Skyrim, the mouse cursor shows for maybe 1/4 a second. When the pixilated smoke under the dragon starts, the mouse pointer disappears. When I move the mouse, I can see it highlight "Continue" and other menu choices. Messing with the .ini I've tried: bGamepadEnable=0 fHUDOpacity=0 bGamePadRumble=0 bMouseAcceleration=0 iPresentInterval=0 ...turning the numlock off, overridding input and input8 in winepreferences, switched through all

  • Typically, I play with my mouse sensitivity really high, but when using certain weapons (sniper rifles, MANA AV turret) I want to drastically reduce the sensitivity. Is there a way to bind a keyboard key to reduce/increase sensitivity. I have a Microsoft IntelliMouse that cost about $5, so I don't have any special mouse options that one would have with a "gaming mouse". I'm asking specifically about Planetside 2 here, but if there's a general solution that would work with other games, I'd be happier with that. Thanks! :-)

  • Alright, so for the last 2 days I've been trying to figure out how to solve this issue with Skyrim, Fallout 3, and New Vegas. When starting Skyrim, my mouse responds fine, but my windows cursor also..., my mouse would lag, jitter, shift speeds randomly, and 'slide on'. These things, apart from the windows cursor appearing, also happen in both Fallouts. (I figured they all have the same problem, since... Settings) Disabling 2nd screen. Shutting down some background processes. (used to be unnecessary) Changing mouse sensitivity. Re-installing Skyrim. Enabling and Disabling MSI-Afterburner. Take note

  • I have adjusted the in game vehicle sensitivity options so that when controlling a tank the turret moves at a good speed. However, driving a Jeep my look sensitivity is too fast. Is there a way without using buttons on the mouse to configure the vehicle sensitivity to work for both tanks and Jeeps? If I use the buttons on my mouse, as soon as I exit the vehicle, it affects my foot soldier look sensitivity and I get killed. Is there external software that would help? I have a Logitech G9 and I have the setpoint software installed.
