I got a used PS3 from a friend and started playing under an an account just named 'user'. I didn't think anything of it. I never connected to the Internet or anything. I'm not really an online player of anything. I'm about 50% through the game and I wanted to invest on the BAWSAQ. So I created a PlayStation network account from my phone. Then I hooked up the Internet and tried to sign in. But apparently someone had already used this account with a different login. So I created a new account on the PS3 and copied my most recent save over.
Now I am getting the error message: "You did not create this save game data. File cannot be loaded." How do I fix this? I don't want to start over and I don't want to miss out on the money for the 3rd stock market investment for the 3rd and later assassinations. I would appreciate any help. This is my first time ever playing on a PlayStation. I usually play PC games. I have enough knowledge that if I need to edit the save game file on my my computer I can but I'm not sure what to change.
Delete the 1.08 patch worked for me fine
I am playing Need For Speed: Most Wanted 2012 on my PS3. However, I want to change the account to which the PS3 is linked. When I try to do this from Settings ---> Account Management ---> Account.... (Atleast, I think I am, cause I can see that I'm connected to PSN in the XMB menu and I can play multiplayer, which means that I must be connected to the EA servers. How do I change my account and can someone clarify this error? EDIT: I am NOT reluctant to delete my game data or save data. (I haven't made it far into the game)
I had two profiles with Scott Pilgrim save data before I lost my first PS3, which I (thought I) restored to my new PS3 via a backup. However, since the Wallace update, when I go to try and play the game again I only get the option to play as the "Guest" profile, which cannot save data. My main profile (which is connected to a PSN account and owned my old play data) is not accessible at all. I created 2 new profiles and these profiles show up alongside Guest (and presumably can actually save their data). Is there any way to allow my main account to create save data for this game again
so I don't have to keep turning my Internet connection on and off, or is disabling the Internet the only way to keep it from downloading things constantly? ...I've been playing The Sims 3 on my PS3 (I mention the specific system because the options might be different). Whenever I go into the Build & Buy menu and go into specific categories, the crap that it keeps re-downloading from The Exchange over and over is really slowing down my game and, frankly, it's kind of pissing me off. I've looked through the Options menu and didn't see anything
Apparently it's only happening to me. The game says it's saving but it doesn't save anything. I just tested 5 mins ago, my last save was 00:53:12 I loaded it, fought some monsters, used some aid kits, and then the game said it was saving, but it didn't save anything. I quit the game right after the "saving" message, then hit on continue, and it loaded that same save in 00:53:12, in which I hadn't... for the "saving" message, quit the game, and it loaded all the way back too 00:53:12 again... it's almost making me want to stop playing the game. Anyone has had the same problem? I wish they would've just let
I was playing Skyrim on my brother's PS3 account and I created my own PS3 account so I tried to copy the file from his PS3 account to mine. It worked and I could load the game but it says since the game was created on a different account it can't be saved and the trophies can't be loaded. I tried using autosave but it doesn't work. The Save option in the menu is disabled. I'm kinda far in the game and I really don't wanna start over... there has to be a way to do this. Is there?
I'm having a problem with my FEAR 2 copy on my PS3, the game works just fine, I'm just past chapter 9/10 where I'm looking for Keegan, anyway, when the game is loading on the loading screen, no matter how long I wait, it always freeze on 84% loaded. Now there's one problem, I cannot find any game data to delete, except game saves which I'm not risking to delete when it probably has no relevance to the freezing issues. I checked the disc of my copy, it doesn't seem to be scratched or anything so this isn't the victim. When the game freezes on the loading screen, I cannot access to the PS
I log into the old account on my PC, it gives me no information about any devices being associated with that account, plus my wife and I deleted absolutely every trace that we could of Netflix from... AuthenticationRenewal transaction failure, new credentials requested, Code: 3037, Description: XUID is not associated with any customer I did a google search for this error code and message, and only found one... live account for the first time, and have remained so for my last 5 logins so far. I think it's safe to say it's a fix. Has anyone else with this issue also found some resolution in the last update?
After experiencing difficulties with a stuck loading screen in Skyrim, I had to force my PS3 to shut down. Thankfully my saved file wasn't completely screwed up in the process. But after I loaded my save game, I travelled to Whiterun to get some ingredients from Arcadia. Once I interacted with her, I was shocked to hear her say "Maybe a hardy Nord like you doesn't need a cure-all, hmm? What about an invisibility potion?" This isn't right. I am a Breton. I really hope this doesn't have anything to do with corruption in my save file. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced
I'm spoiled by being able to back up all of my save/game data on my PS3, PC, Vita etc, so I'm a little concerned that there isn't a straight up "back up all the things" option in the Wii U settings. I've heard some icky backup suggestions like manually copying files. However, since you can move games/their saves over 100% to an external source (which I should then be able to back up), it seems like if all my game/save content is on an external device I should be able to back up that device and keep all my content, right? So if all my content is on an external drive can I really back it up
