Can I use my PSOne memory card saves on digital copies downloaded from PSN?

  • Can I use my PSOne memory card saves on digital copies downloaded from PSN? alFador

I was wondering if is it possible to use my original PSOne saved games (in particular, from Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX and Tactics) on the digital games downloaded from the PlayStation Store. Obviously after transfering these save files via the PS3 Memory Card adapter.

  • Yes, you can. I've done it with Final Fantasy VII and the Spyro games- they all worked perfectly.

Is there a special arcane power-off...My wife recently picked me up a clean, used original-design PSX (not the PSOne style, if that makes a difference) as another console for my man-cave's "retro-gaming corner". I have been playing FFVII and Gran Turismo on it, using the same memory card for both. The card looks like the genuine Sony article, and came with the console. However, I have been having problems with the FFVII savegames

  • I'm trying to buy some DLC for my games, but since I'm living outside the USA I can't use my credit card to add funds to my PSN wallet. My country was not listed when I created a PlayStation Network account, so now my only hope is a PlayStation Network Card. I have created a separate US PSN account for purchases; can I use a US-based PlayStation Network Card to add funds to my PSN wallet? Has anyone tried this before? UPDATE I tried is and it's working. • I've spent 5 hours last night downloading Atelier Totori Plus (and thus why I hate digital distribution), obviously I don't want to go though that again (with the constant fear that it's going to cut out), so I'm wondering if there is a way to transfer my game between memory cards. I have a 16 GB card which I may need to upgrade if this stupid trend to have digital downloads and no physical copy continues, as I would have gladly brought Atelier Totori Plus physically if it was available (and had the bonus content).

  • So I have 2 copies of Animal Crossing New Leaf for the 3DS. I have a physical cart version and a digital version I downloaded from the eShop. I use them both on the one console. The time has come where I could really use the money from selling the physical version, but unfortunately, the cart contains my main town, and I can't sell the digital version. Can I transfer my town from my physical cart to my digital version? Ideally I want to keep my main town, but sell one of the Animal Crossings

  • It's kind of strange that this isn't consistent between all Vita games. How can I determine where a game saves its data (and therefore whether it can be backed up and restored)? Is it game data supposed to show up in "Application Data Management" if it exists? Does it have anything to do with "Memory Required" on the back of a game box? What if I downloaded it, have no box, and the digital manual doesn't explicitly say? Is there any way to tell without purchasing the game?

  • I know that a PSN Account is tied to the memory card which means if you wanted a NTSC (US) and PAL (UK, Aus) PSN Account you would need 2 memory cards. With that said, in terms of trophies, can you sync trophies that were obtained from an NTSC game with a PAL PSN Account? Here's an example: I have Atelier Totori Plus on my Australian PSN Account (PAL). If I were to get a NTSC copy of Ragnarok Oddysey and got its trophies, could I sync them to the same account as my PAL PSN Account or can I only sync it with the NTSC Account that I would use to get its DLC? EDIT: I should note that in my

  • I recently punched my 3DS while playing Mario Kart and cracked the screen. I've bought a new 3DS console, but can't do a System Transfer because the broken 3DS can't connect to the internet. Is there any way I can use the old SD card with all of my saved data in my new 3DS? I tried to transfer the data, from the old card to the new card, but the data will not appear in the new console. I don't want to lose my Ambassador Certificate and NES & Gameboy games!

  • Once a game is downloaded from the eShop, is the game save saved on the SD card or the console? If it's saved on the SD card, can it be loaded by the same game on a different console? I'm wondering if I could keep a back up copy of my Animal Crossing game save incase something goes wrong with the console etc.
