I cannot seem to be able to play Super Street Fighter 4 on PS3 without having to set up an account with the playstation network. Is this true?
How can I play super street fighter 4 without setting up a PSN account?
. Will the achievements work when playing on Arcade Edition? Do they change if you play on Arcade Edition? Would taking some actions on Super Street Fighter 4 and others on Arcade Edition activate the achievement? Some examples: For Fashion Plate, would I get the achievement if I obtain all colors for the 35 fighters of Super Street Fighter 4 or would I need to get all colors for the 4 new characters too? For From C to Shining C, would I be able to get the achievement by getting rank C for 20 characters on Super Street Fighter 4, and then for the 15 other characters on Arcade Edition? Would
In regular (not Super) Street Fighter IV you could create player matches. You could make a player match friends-only, invite your friend, and play tons of matches. In Super Street Fighter IV, there are no player matches anymore. I can invite my friends if I create a game in endless mode or team mode, but not in 1v1 mode. Every time I try to click invite friend, it is always grayed out. Even if we create a party the option to invite party to game is also grayed out. How do I create a 1v1 match in SSFIV and invite someone from my friends list?
I just got Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition on PC (note: not to be confused with Street Fighter IV, which is a different game). When I go to "Challenge -> Trial", it says: Trial Mode is not compatible with Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition. The game will temporarily switch to Super Street Fighter IV Original. My questions are: Does SSF4AE also contain the SSF4? Is it possible to switch between the Arcade Edition and the Original? How? Do I need to unlock it? Remember, since I just got this game, I haven't unlocked anything and I don't even know what
These days I've been trying to play SSF4:AE and SFxT a bit more seriously (I'm a pure beginner in versus fighting games). There are a bunch of things I don't understand at all, but while watching a few replays, I heard commentators talking about the "tier list" and sometimes "god tiers" a lot. I've also found a few web comics where these two terms regularly appear. What is it exactly, and how is it established/built up ? Does it exist for other versus fighting games than Street Fighters ?
I buy & download a game from PSN on my user account on PS3 #1. Then I switch to PS3 #2 and login with the same PSN account. Can I download the same game without paying twice?
I'm trying to sign up for the Shoryuken forums to discuss Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and the registration page asks me who the final boss of Street Fighter IV is to prove I'm not a computer. I've never played that game, so I don't know the answer.
With the Playstation Store I believe you can actually purchase PSN titles from your PC for the PSP (and possibly PS3? I forget). I've googled but I can't quite tell if there's such a service for the Wii U store. There's a Wii U downloadable title I'd like, as it's on sale, but I don't have a Wii U yet. Is there some way I can purchase the game (even if I have to download it on the title, just "claiming" it would be super) without the console itself?
I created a PSN account in one country in Europe and I was able to buy PSN cards there and load credits on my account. However, now I live in a different European country and I wonder if locally bought PSN cards are valid for my account. User experience reports seems to vary a lot and I can’t find a definitive answer (and I don’t like the idea to waste my money trying myself). The two countries are using the same currency (i.e. Euro)
I'm considering picking up Street Fighter IV on PC, and I'm wondering: Does the networked multiplayer allow PC users and PS3/Xbox users play together?
