How can I set my bukkit server on my mac to use more than 1 core? I set my server to use 12 gigs of RAM for now, considering that I will be adding more servers soon.
My iMac has these configurations:
It uses mavericks.
Also, is it possible to use the graphics card for the server (considering that the RAM on it is MUCH faster than the standard 1600MHz RAM) when the card is not in use?

I recently installed rage on my PC, expecting to run smoothly after i played it on a less powerful pc having a decent FPS, BUT! Here comes the plot twist, because after I start a new game, (the pre-rendered cinematics running okay ofcourse) and get in the actual game, I literally get 0FPS, the game 'updates' every 2-3 seconds so it takes like 2 minutes open start menu etc. My PC is more than enough for this game, so what can be the problem? I am having some issues with Deus Ex: HR. I just recently got a new computer and when I installed DE:HR again through Steam (and reinstalled it now) I can't set the resolution higher than 1280×1024, even when I set the aspect ratio to 16:9. Now the TV I am using as a monitor whenever I set to a resolution that has 1280 in it will go off the screen. But I can set things to 1920×1080 and have done so before. Now the weird thing is that in the setup Deus Ex will not let me set the resolution higher than 1280×1024 and I don't know why. If you know something please let me know My computer

I am trying to get a set of mods running for a private server. When I go to test everything in single player creative mode I get this output in my console output (MultiMC's debug console... ########## Based on what I can determine the error only appears when I open NEI to look for an item. The error does not happen when I fly around, dig, etc. Here is the stuff I have installed so far. This began a series of crashes from various simple actions: Placed some pipes: 2 crashes Removed pipes: crashed again I reverted to the old code but it I'm still experiencing lag. I also tried removing my map and reinstalling the server launcher with the map in the folder. I believe I set it up the way it all should...Recently my friend got his computer fixed and he was finally able to join my server. I'm running a Minecraft Craftbukkit server using this awesome script. My box has 3GB of RAM, and I have it set up to use 2GB minimum, and 2.5GB max. I want to use the RAM-disk feature in the script, but I'm wondering how much space is needed for the RAM-disk to be effective? I've heard people get away with only using 200MB of RAM disk, and like 100MB of RAM for the server process, which seems sketchy... Given I have 3GB of RAM available to me, any thoughts on RAM-disk size in comparison to just RAM? P.S. Does this belong on Super User?
