I have recently installed the traincarts plugin on my server. So far I have been getting along fine, until the part about destinations and path-finding. What I want to know is how do I set/name a station so that the train knows where its going.
I have a station and a train called train2, I want it to be able to get to the second station without losing its way.
If you would find it easier to demonstrate this please say and I could whitelist you on my server.
I have an old electric train that's been stuck for quite a while. During upgrading I upgraded the electric rail station to maglev while a train was in the depot. However, the train was never "stopped" in the depot. I switched the station back to electric -- but the train is still stuck in a netherland between the depot and the station. It won't go to the station, and it won't go back into the depot either. Here's a screen shot to give you an idea of how it looks. I have no idea how to delete it. It loses me a decent sum each year. What can I do?
I have built a train station in the "redstone-ready" superflat world preset, and I was wondering if I could change the world type so all new chunks are normal world chunks, instead of superflat chunks. I don't want the train to just run through a superflat world, it is too boring. Is this possible? If so, how would one go about doing it?
I have station built near a city and it was happily transporting passengers, mail, and iron ore. A while back, the iron ore mine shut down and disappeared from the map. I sold off the train hauling the iron ore after making sure I transported the last ton out of the station. Recently, I checked my station rating for transport services and noticed that while I'm doing fine on passengers and mail... within the station catchment area, does it still show on my station rating? I just didn't want a poor rating to affect my overall station rating and my local authority rating with the town.
So I have a feeder service. A train drops off goods (i.e. is ordered to transfer) and a truck picks these up and makes the short journey into town. The problem I seem to be having however is that whenever my truck makes the delivery it actually loses money. I'm assuming this is because the train station is slightly further away and the train gets overpaid for the transfer. Is there a way I can fix this? Short of demolishing and moving my train station?
Getting heavy into Pocket Trains lately. As one builds up it becomes increasingly more expensive to expand with more rail roads. I'm finding it difficult to build up cash due to an oddly common incident: train breakdowns. My question to you: What things affect how often a train breaks? Is it just the type of train? Or does number of engines and fuel cars have an effect? I'm playing on iOS if that matters.
I trained up my detection skill to level one, I'm now trying to train it up again both from the same guy but for some reason he won't let me train anymore. It says that its for levels 0-3 and my skill is only level 1. How can I fix this so I can train again?
I nearly always see a complaint bubble at my passenger train station complaining of a need to add more trains to the schedule. Unfortunately I can't see anything to do with adding more trains to the schedule. Is there a way to do this? And would adding another train station help?
I'm able to successfully board a train by dropping down from overhanging platforms, but even once I have worked my way to the front of the train the "enter vehicle" button fails to work. How do I enter the train so I can control it?
Is the special German train station any different from the normal train station? Do I get the same upgrades to it? Do the German trains go faster?
