I just found a Carnevil http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/carnevil
My issue is that I think I'm losing the "dagger" dps of my fetishes. Does anyone know the damage is the same as their daggers when they shoot? My attack speed is really high so they shoot rather fast, but they now lose the Tasker and Theo attack speed (my attack speed bonus is 80% from them) because they only shoot when I do.
Is it recommended to go with Tasker and Theo and keep that attack speed or keep the poison dart shooting fetishes?
I wonder what the mathematical percentage of 'Chance on ...' affix on some legendary items. For example: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/bovine-bardiche http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/sanguinary-vambraces-1385JU
Possible Duplicate: Does weapon speed affect animation speed? All Demon Hunter's Rapid Fire skill says is Rapidly fire for 228% weapon damage as Physical Is this affected at all by the weapon's default fire rate? If the answer is no, it seems logical that a DH should favor damage over attack speed when upping his DPS.
I recently got my hands on one of these from Kedala. Here is the link to the mask: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/the-grin-reaper It's a cool mask. But does the mimics actually do any damage at all... these mimics, could anyone knowledgeable shed some light into it? Another question; right now I'm using Firebats as my main damage spell. I've got 13% Firebats damage rolled on the mask, is getting a 6% CHC worth more than this one DPS wise?
When Diablo 2 was first released, there was a sequence you had to go through in order to get the unique rings. In order to get the Stone of Jordan, you needed to first get the Manald Heal and Nagelrings. All three rings are back in Diablo 3 (plus a bunch more). The Stone of Jordan (SoJ) became a unit of currency throughout Diablo 2, to the point where Blizzard created a special event that could be triggered by selling enough SoJ's. Does the Stone of Jordan in Diablo 3 have any special properties or significance that sets aside from other items in the game?
Possible Duplicate: Are attack speed bonuses factored into the DPS figures? Consider you have 3 different weapons 1000 dps with + elemental damage 1000 dps with +x% damage 1000 dps with +x attack speed If I understand correctly, the + damage and + elemental damage stats are incorporated into the weapons dps. How does the attack speed work? surely any weapon with attack speed is far preferable (assuming similar dps). Does + attack speed even affect the weapons dps (as shown)? To clarify, +% damage and + elemental damage only affect the weapons raw damage (i.e 500-1000
I recently noticed that when I cast Arcane Torrent I'm apparently under some slowdown effect: This effect disappears the instant the cast animation stops. But what is the point of this effect in the first place, considering that when casting this spell I can't move or attack at all anyway?
Possible Duplicate: How is listed DPS calculated when dual-wielding weapons? I've read somewhere in-game ( i don't remember where exactly though) that when dual-wielding, attack speed differs when you're using incompatible items or something? So does it matter if I equip a one-handed spear and a fist vs 2 spears and 2 fists? Also, do they need to have the same attack speed?
I'm fighting the ant queen on level 12 but keep running low on TP in the last half of the fight. This slows my DPS down too much and I end up losing the war of attrition. The shop isn't selling any amritas, and the one TP item they do sell only restores 10 TP. Is there something I can farm and sell to the shop so that they'll put some amritas up for sale?
