I have a bunch of demos recorded in TF2 from before the Hatless update. Any attempt to open the files in TF2 for playback causes it to toss up a few resource loading errors that I'm assuming are the result of changes in the update, and the demo never loads.
Really all I want from these files is the voice chat audio, the action on screen wasn't important. Is there any tool available that can extract that information independent from TF2 itself?
On a similar note, for files that I can open, is there a way to make TF2 output just the audio track when recording playback using the
startmovie command? I don't need the vast gigabytes of tga files.

Strangely, with the new 1.2.5 update, if you ever force update or redownload the game to clear mods it doesn't download the audio files with at that point, it downloads them in the background as you... cuts off or something. How can I fix this? Is there a way to permanently backup the resources folder, so that Minecraft doesn't re-download them? What makes this even weirder is that Mojang states the game can be played offline at any time as long as you have been online once to verify account is paid for. But lately people can't do that I guess, if I'm not the only one suffering

Can I use the PULSE Elite headset for voice chat on the Xbox 360? I know it connects to the PlayStation via USB, and can connect to other devices by linking a 3.5 mm cable to the USB dongle. Is the dongle directly compatible with the Xbox? If not, is there another way to connect it in such a way that will allow voice chatting with the built-in microphone while also getting game and chat audio... on the controller. I was playing Portal 2 today and I wanted to have in-game audio (environmental sounds) through my main desktop speakers, while having my voice chat output to my headset. I couldn't find the setting to change my default output speakers for voice-chat... I ended up having to put all audio through my headset. Is there any way I can set output voice to my headset and leave ingame audio to my main speakers?
In the Valve games (Left 4 dead, TF2, etc), I can either route all the sound through my speakers (which makes voice chat weird) or through the earpiece on my headset (which makes the in game sound effects sound crap). Is there a way to route only the voice chat through the earpiece, and the rest of the sound through my speakers? I'm running OSX Lion and the headset is one of the new PS3 bluetooth headsets.

When I go to C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions\1.6.2, I see my .jar file but when I try to open it, it does nothing. So how do I open my .jar file so I can mod it? I also know that if I extract the files my minecraft crashes. Why is that? How can I open it so I can mod it?
