I was just wondering if anyone knew what the flags on the back of the robots in co-op actually meant? I was playing as P-Body and had the flag on my back for the whole time as far as I could tell, but atlas definitely has a flag poll as well... any ideas?

  • If you select "Robot Enrichment" on the main menu, you can go to the Portal 2 Store, where you can purchase flair to make your robot look unique.

Flags are one of these items, and, specifically, those who bought the potato sack got flags with the logo of the game they played the most.

  • I have downloaded the Portal 2 DLC from the PSN and then installed the DLC onto my system. When I go to play the game, the only new thing in any of the menus is "Download Free DLC" in the main menu. When I choose that, it says "there are no new items to purchase". When I go into co-op, the new area that is supposed to be open is not. I have completed both the single player and co-op parts of the game. Anyone have any idea why I can't access the DLC?

It's not supported out of the box... seems to work for most people, but not in all circumstances. There seem to be a lot of other threads in the wild with many different solutions. If you're building a co-op map, the Game View is automatically split screen, each controlled by one robot. How do I switch control of robots to test my map? Currently I can only control Atlas, but I need to switch over to P-body to complete the map. He's just sitting there, stuck at the beginning of the level. I've tried using gestures, pinging, and keyboard shortcuts, but nothing has worked so far.

  • to answer. I'm pretty sure online co-op exists, but is there couch co-op where multiple people play on the same system? Is there system link co-op where you can connect with other people on the same network outside of Xbox Live? Additionally, if there are multiple ways to engage in co-op play, do the types of co-op play available vary depend on which method is utilized? ie. Campaign co-op is only available through xbox live, but you can run around with a friend blowing stuff up in couch co-op.
