COD Black Ops Multiplayer: Did anyone try laying down a claymore ON the converyor belt in radiation?

  • COD Black Ops Multiplayer: Did anyone try laying down a claymore ON the converyor belt in radiation? Sid

I'm not at home right now so can't try this out right away. Me and my buddy were discussing ways of defense against the opposing team in domination on the Radiation Map. Players are aware that there is a conveyor belt inside one of the buildings and I've seen a lot of players use it to find a safe passage around the map to get to flag C.

If you plant a claymore on the conveyor belt (which would be awesome since the area is bathed in red light and the claymore lasers would be hard to see) does it move along with the belt?

For my sake, I hope not :) It would be a good way to score a kill.

  • Went ahead and tried it myself, eventually. You can lay a claymore on the belt and it stays put.

  • A small section of my city in the corner has been affected by radiation. All the buildings (including shops and houses) now show signs of radioactivity. When I bulldoze them, the radiation disappears, but when the buildings are rebuilt, they are still affected. I have an Oil Factory right smack in the middle from where the radioactivity is coming from. But even when I bulldoze the Oil factory, the radiation is still there. How do I get rid the radioactivity?

  • One of my nuclear power plants recently had a meltdown, and now the entire area is covered in radiation. No buildings are able to flourish there; they all become abandoned due to radiation. I've waited a pretty long time, and it doesn't seem as if the effects of the radiation are dying down at all? Is there anything I can do to get rid of the radiation? Does it dissipate naturally and I just have waited long enough? Will certain buildings do okay in radioactive areas?

  • I've made a "conveyor belt" of droppers to transport goodies from mob grinder to a conveniently placed chest. I think the design is extremely inefficient though. The vertical line is very neat: just... that prevents signal from traveling back, when I activate the switch that stops the conveyor (only pulsed signal makes it run, a constant "on" keeps droppers inactive). And then comes the messy part... from the rest to avoid short-circuits and feedback from the first torch in the tower conducting power up. I realize probably running the line of redstone through the top side of the droppers would

  • Analogue controls Colonel Panic

Does VVVVVV support analogue control? (on PC or on console). If so, does that make it easier to play? For instance, one could stand still on a conveyor.

  • I can not craft the conveyor module, i am using 3 glass on top, 3 refined iron in the middle a electronic circuit in the bottom left and right with a battery in the bottom middle. I tried using a charged battery too without result. I am playing "vanilla" FTB unleashed, i just installed it without turning any extra's on or off. There is no info at all about this module:

  • I've upgraded my first upgradable sword some, and I can't notice much difference. The pixelated one that you have when you're hurt looks very upgradable, but the giant one seems to look the same, even if I have a wood sword. Does upgrading improve both, or is the giant one just the best that it can be? What if I change weapons and buy the Claymore from that guy in the middle of nowhere, would the fully-healed version be better then?

  • to consume irradiated food on occasion. So when I see an entry such as RadRoach Meat (Rads +9, HP +1(5s)), I wonder: Is it that it immediately adds 9 to my radiation, and gives me 1 hit point per second, or does it add 9 to my radiation every second while simultaneously adding 1 to my hit points per second?

  • I didn’t have a console growing up, but eventually bought a Nintendo 64 to enhance my childhood retroactively. I just got Starfox 64, and have to admit I’m puzzled. I have beaten the first few planets / asteroid belt, but every time I turn on the game, I have to start over from the beginning! What the heck? Is there no way to save a game after beating e.g. the asteroid belt and then pick it up a day later? Note: I have a memory card, but don’t have a clue how to use it.
