After playing Terraria for a little while, I have started to find the default sounds for when a player takes damage a little annoying and I'm looking for a way to use my own sound files instead of the default ones provided with the game.
I have seen that it is possible to change to an already existing sound in the Terraria sound folder (here), but I am looking to use my own sounds so this doesn't exactly fit what I'm looking for.
I guess I need to know a couple of things in order to be able to do this:
You need to convert your sound files into XNB format, the packaged format Microsoft XNA uses for binary files. The best guide I've found is designed for creating custom music soundtracks, but the steps are the same for replacing sound effects.
You just need to convert your sounds using XACT and replace the existing sounds with your new ones. The game uses the filename to determine which sound to play for each event, so make sure those stay the same.
Okay, I have the following: PS2 memory cards with saves from PS2 PS2 memory card adapter for PS3 PS3 which can read those files No PS2 or fat PS3 anymore, which is why I use... PCSX2 emulator which I want to be able to access those files Now, I would have thought this would make copying PS2 save files to my PC in a format PCSX2 can read would be a simple task, but apparently not. I haven't..., but neither seems to know what to do with the files output by PSV exporter. So, given my equipment or a simply a PSV file, what software do I need to copy my "real" PS2 saves into some format PCSX2 can read?

The voice samples in these games are very low quality and heavily digitized. They are also authentic to their original versions from 1996, and have not been modified
I can do. The sound still works and the hover effects for buttons still works, so the game hasn't crashed, but the game becomes unplayable. What should I do? I use a mouse. Possible Duplicate: What factors should I use to price an item in the auction house? This question is really about how to value items bought and sold on the auction house. Obviously the answer will be subjective on a per player basis, but in the aggregate I expect there are certain stats that tend to make items sell for far more. I'm imagining it's something like: Most important... Etc. Nearly useless: Resistances Etc. Obviously not a complete list, but this is the type of answer I'm looking for.
there should be a codec window somewhere, which I do not see. The documentation for this feature seems to be rather weak and I might have been looking at outdated information. I'm looking for a simple list of the various spells that are acquired throughout LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 and accessible from the spell wheel (long press on triangle on the PS3, but I guess something similar on other platforms). I'm not asking about bought spells, just the ones you acquire with experience. It's weirdly difficult to find a simple list of them anywhere! What I'd like for each spell ideally is: Colour Name What it does When/where it's acquired
I'm new to Anno 2070 and started playing today, but one of the first things I noticed is that the date format is all wrong. The game is in English as is my OS, however the game uses the date format MM/dd/yyyy whereas my OS is set to yyyy-MM-dd. Any idea how to correct the date format that Anno 2070 uses? It might sound a little over the top but I actually find it very hard to read the dates in the correct order with this confusing format. P.S. Everyone knows yyyy-MM-dd (ISO 8601) is the correct way to write numeric dates :-)
sounds, but I cannot find anything in the .cfg file to disable these sounds. How can I disable the machine sounds from IC2? My IC2 version is industrialcraft-2_1.116.364-lf, it is the most updated version of IC2 I'm aware of that I can use in my modpack (minecraft version 1.5.2), which is primarily Unhinged (some other mods added) Edit: I have since updated LWJGL incase that was the issue... original state. I have never had a config file behave this way and am completely stumped on how to prevent this from happening. I'm fairly sure that if I can get the config file to keep its edits

Also does the order of enabling... memory usage goes well above 2 GB. I only have 4 GB of RAM, running Windows 7 64 bit. As a result of X3 using more RAM than is available, my hard drive starts paging and makes the game and other applications become unusable. I have to restart the game. Is anyone aware of this issue or how to fix it? Is this a bug in the game? I'm using some mods but most are pretty simple and don't add maps
