What do AD scaling abilities scale on for leech effects?
Take the following skill for example, it is pure AD scaling:
Spell Summary Sonic Wave: Lee Sin projects a discordant wave of sound to locate his enemies, dealing (50/80/110/140/170) (+(1 per attack damage point)) physical damage to the first enemy it encounters. If Sonic Wave hits, Lee Sin can cast Resonating Strike for the next 3 seconds.
Resonating Strike: Lee Sin dashes to the enemy hit by Sonic Wave, dealing (60/90/120/150/180) (+(1 per attack damage point)) physical damage plus 10% of their missing Health (Max: 400 damage vs. Monsters).
What would I leech health back from?
Life Steal and Spell Vamp don't proc based on the damage bonus source of the skill (AD versus AP), nor is it based on the damage type (physical versus magical). It's actually based on the kind of skill.
In general, Spell Vamp is the only drain effect that affects skills. All of Lee Sin's skills, despite all being AD-based physical attacks, use Spell Vamp and Spell Vamp alone. Akali is an example of a somewhat physical champion whose attack skills are all Spell Vamp-based (her innate Life Steal is to benefit her auto-attacks only). Even skills like Ashe's Volley, which applies her Frost Shot effect (but only that, the key point being as you'll read up soon), will use Spell Vamp.
Life Steal generally applies only to your auto-attack, but it also applies to skills that apply on-hit effects. For example, Blitzcrank's Power Fist deals 100% extra damage and pops the target in the air in addition to applying on-hit effects (for items like Black Cleaver). This benefits from Life Steal instead of Spell Vamp. Other examples of skills that benefit from Life Steal would be Irelia's Bladesurge, Ezreal's Mystic Shot, and Gangplank's Parrrley.
As far as I know, there is no skill which benefits from both Spell Vamp and Life Steal. It's always one or the other.
At first I thought I was crazy, but I've been keeping an eye out for it and it definitely happens on really rare occasions. I'll be fighting some enemies and when the battle ends, my life bar fills itself back up to full. In my last 2 hours of play or so, I've only seen it happen 3 times. I did not level. I don't have any gear that leeches health. I don't have any abilities that leech health. I did not accidentally drink a potion. I wasn't in or just coming out of Reckoning mode. In at least the most recent occasion, I had no blessings on me. Anyone have any idea what
So far in my adventuring throughout the world of Kingdoms of Amalur, I've discovered several weapons with stats like: +11 Physical Damage +6 Piercing Damage I realize that Physical damage is base damage, while piercing damage is damage that ignores the enemy's armor rating. What I'm wondering is: Are these two types of damage included separately? (i.e. +11 Physical, +6 Piercing for a total of 17 damage vs. +11 Physical damage, 6 of which ignores enemy armor)
The realm ability Mastery of Concentration has the following description: Grants a 100% bonus to avoid being interrupted by any form of attack when casting a spell. The effect of the spell cast...? Bubbles are probably not affected What about self buffs and/or conc buffs? Or buffs like damage shield, PoM/PoT, damage add? What about HoT (Heal over Time)? What about casting pets while MoC is active? Differences between Theurgist’s temporary pets and permanent pets (Enchanter etc.)? Any special rules for Animist’s mushrooms? What about resurrections?
In the skill description for Crippling Wave - Rising Tide, it is stated that Critical Hits generate an additional 5 Spirit. Since Crippling Wave typically hits multiple enemies with each use, is the 5 additional spirit generated for a critical hit per enemy, or per use of Crippling Wave? (the same question applies for Fists of Thunder - Quickening and Deadly Reach - Strike from Beyond, but I'm mainly interested in the rune with Crippling Wave, since it tends to hit many more enemies)

I'm talking about skills like Sion's Enrage: TOGGLE: While toggled on, Sion has increased attack damage at the cost of some health for each autoattack. While Enrage is active, Sion permanently increases his maximum health whenever he kills a unit with either his attacks or abilities. This effect is doubled against champions and large units. or Nasus' Siphoning Strike: ACTIVE: Nasus' next attack within 10 seconds will deal additional physical damage. to die. The damage I take is fairly significant, but my life never hits 0. I don't die. Unable to move. This is like the previous de-sync issue, where you'd rubberband once you got a certain.... I'm entirely invisible. Anything that effects me shows the various effects where I'm supposed to be, but I can't see myself at all. I still take damage normally, though. Can't attack. Shift-clicking does nothing, attacking anything that's close enough to hit does no damage. Can't use special abilities. It's like it doesn't register that I'm using special abilities. How does this passive work? It says: " Regenerates a portion of the attacked enemy's current HP and deals the same portion of damage per attack. " Life Leech: 4%/5%/6%/7% So does that mean Lifestealer heals 7% of target's current HP AND adds that 7% as damage in next attack? I can't understand this. Let's say target is Pudge with 3000hp. 7%3000 = 210. So, basically, I'm lifestealing 210hp + dealing 210 damage when attacking?
