In career mode in FIFA 12, what factors determine a club's transfer strategy (e.g. whether they are a "buying" or "selling" club)?
I'm playing a career as a virtual pro but not playing as a manager. I'm playing for Liverpool, but in the course of 3 transfer windows they've sold off 6 or so star players (Suarez, Carroll, Reina, Johnson, Agger, Downing for those who are interested) without buying a single player. It's so completely unrealistic that it's really ruined the experience for me. I'm wondering if there are any factors that I have control over that I could change to make sure it doesn't happen again.
I realise I could just become the manager and then have (almost) complete control over transfers, but I would rather avoid all the minutia and just focus on playing.
This is difficult one to answer, it may be because the team is 4 and a half star and all teams which have offered money have been higher! (5star) I played as Totenham and they actually bought suarez, which was good for me! Another idea is to play as the team not just your player so (if your good) the players wont go out of form and wont be sold on! To prevent everything your best bet is probably manager mode!
So, I'm playing FIFA Manager 2013 and decided that I'll have a go at being both player and manager. After playing a set number of matches, a player can be inducted in the club's Hall of Fame. Doing so for other players is easy, just right-click on their names and then "Induct in Hall of Fame", except when right-clicking on the Player/Manager, you get sent directly to the player details page, and there are no buttons that suggest inducting yourself in your club's Hall of Fame. Is there a way to induct the player/manager in the Hall of Fame?
I have just started playing Fifa 14 career mode and I have played Fifa 13 career mode and there was an option in Fifa 13 where you could automatically save when you finished a game. I can't seem to find this option in Fifa 14. Does this option exist in Fifa 14? If so, where can I find this option?
My friend bought Fifa 13 on Xbox and everybody's getting excited for tournaments etc. I only have a PC however, so I'm wondering, if I get Fifa 13 on PC, will I be able to accurately practice and learn the game and then transfer that knowledge? Or is there possibly some weird difference to cater for the PC audience, or perhaps some bad porting issues? I'm certainly expecting this to be a no, but I just can't find any info on it. For bonus points, would anybody recommend getting FIFA 12 PC for learning FIFA 13 Xbox? I'm not expecting to be a masterclass, my main goal is to learn the control
In FIFA 14 on PS3 I'm playing an offline career. My first season easily exceeded all avg rating targets. In the second season my avg. rating shows as 0.00, even though it should be over 9. Will it be reported properly at the end of the season, or will I fail that objective because of this? Is there any way make the game recognise my ratings?
With so many choices I'm not sure what to choose. Which camp is the overall best one for the youth team and first team in Fifa Manager?
Just finished my first season in Career mode and was disappointed that all of my job offers at the end of the season are for "Manager" only. The only offer of Player Manager was with my first club. Does this mean I'm now stuck with my original club (Perth Glory) if I want to continue using my VP? If I move clubs am I likely to ever get another offer as Player Manager?
On Football Manager 2012, I am currently a club in the top tier of Croatian football. I have three feeder clubs (all in Croatia). As I've been at the club for quite a while, the board allows me the option to pick my own feeder club. Obviously, I want to expand my scouting knowledge; so I try to pick a club in another country. I've tried for ones that are nearby e.g. Slovenia, Montenegro and these have a lower reputation than my club. I've tried this many times now and the board have always failed to reach an agreement, even when I've had a change of strategy and gone for a Sierra Leonean
This is driving me nuts. I'm new to Fifa as a whole so go easy on me. I'm playing offline in single player mode on Fifa 14 (PC) as a player. I've been "on loan from Barcelona B" playing for some awful team for what seems like 100 matches. When transfer time comes, I have no idea how to transfer. All it gives me is an advance button and 8 hours of time to advance through. I see a bunch of teams with what looks like players being transferred, and money spent on those players, but I'm never transferred. What gives?
I ask this because I'm playing the New Vegas Trade Center mod and I'd like to put my bottle caps in the bank there. Unfortunately, bottle caps don't appear in my inventory; they only appear in the bottle cap counter at the top right of my pipboy. I notice that Alchestbreach (an online reviewer) doesn't have this problem. Could this be because of some patch? EDIT: Yeah, it's not here at all. Here I'm trying to transfer them to ED-E. Over here, I'm trading with Chet (ridiculous amount of caps courtesy of not having a life)
