I have insane mouse lag in Skyrim. I have changed
Skyrim.ini file and
But I still have mouse lag and the game is unplayable. What can I do?
There are two fixes for mouse lag. There's the one you mentioned, which you should use. There's also this one:
Disable mouse smoothing
- Go to your Steam Directory, then steamapps, common, skyrim and select Skyrim again.
- Create a backup of the SkyrimPrefs.ini file.
- Open the file, then scroll down to where it says [Controls] and find bMouseAcceleration=1.
- Change to bMouseAcceleration=0.
- Save, exit, and play.
This fix and the two below are from Skyrim Reddit, and are credited to “Dead man posting” on the Something Awful Forums.
Using both of these worked well for me.
I had the same problem that you are experiencing and determined that the source of the problem lies with the mouse (for me anyhow). I have the razor naga, and after turning off acceleration in skyrim and also turning off vsync I experienced the same lag. When i would move the mouse rapidly the game could not keep up. After thinking about it I found that the razor naga had an acceleration of its own and after turning off the mouse acceleration directly at the source of the mouse (razer naga control panel "downloadable driver") the game ran perfectly.
I'm trying to lower the mouse sensitivity in Fallout 3 to an acceptable level. I have done the following changes to my fallout.ini file: ForegroundMouseAccelBase=0 fForegroundMouseAccelTop=0 fForegroundMouseBase=0 fForegroundMouseMult=0 The only thing I can find that regards the sensitivity is fMouseSensitivity, found in falloutprefs.ini. Changing this seems to make no difference to the menu sensitivity. Anyone know what I need to change?
I use Linux Mint 14 (64-bit) and I'm trying to get mouse support in Dwarf Fortress. In my init.txt I have: [MOUSE:YES] [MOUSE_PICTURE:NO] However I have no mouse functionality in the game itself. I'm not able to click on anything or use the mouse for anything. What else do I need to do beyond have these arguments in my init.txt to get mouse support in Dwarf Fortress? I have the latest version.
I've installed Skyrim on my Intel 4000 CPU/CPU based Ubuntu system via PlayOnLinux (latest as of today, tried with wine ~1.5 and ~1.6 rc 1). When I load Skyrim, the mouse cursor shows for maybe 1/4 a second. When the pixilated smoke under the dragon starts, the mouse pointer disappears. When I move the mouse, I can see it highlight "Continue" and other menu choices. Messing with the .ini I've tried: bGamepadEnable=0 fHUDOpacity=0 bGamePadRumble=0 bMouseAcceleration=0 iPresentInterval=0 ...turning the numlock off, overridding input and input8 in winepreferences, switched through all
How can i increase mouse sensitivity in Skyrim? on the main menu the mouse cursor is sluggish in-game mouse sensitivity is too low Things i've tried: increasing Look Sensitivity in-game... Running in Windowed mode Turning off Steam's Overlay UI: Increasing my mouse pointer speed in Windows Note: My question is different from How can I sync vertical/horizontal mouse sensitivities?, which looks to make the poor mouse sensitivity equal in both directions. i want not poor mouse sensitivity. Note: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Skyrim\SkyrimPrefs.ini" Note
I have a 125mhz simple Microsoft mouse and have been using it overclocked at 500mhz. However I seem to face a little mouse lag. Is this possible? Can overclocking mice cause lag problems?
I have been given a quest by the Companions to kill the Warlocks of 'Crossroads Watchtower' aka 'Falkreath Tower' for the quest 'Trouble In Skyrim'. However I already cleared this tower pre-quest and now when I go to the tower the quest target just hovers over the area where the enemy, a necromancer, should be. How can I fix this bug using console commands, keeping in mind that there is no body for the main NPC of this location? Also if it helps, the NPC he resurrects to fight is a glitchy ash pile where directly aiming at it and pressing E achieves nothing, meaning I have to move the mouse
On Skyrim for PC, whenever a yes/no dialog pops up ("Are you sure you want to exit alchemy?"), or a dialog with just 'ok'("You learned the _ enchantment"), I can't do anything. I can't right click or left click on the yes or no or anything else on the screen. EDIT: It appears I can press 'y' for yes and 'n' for no, but nothing seems to work for 'OK' dialogs. I get "stuck", and there is nothing I can do. The sound still works and the hover effects for buttons still works, so the game hasn't crashed, but the game becomes unplayable. What should I do? I use a mouse. I don't have any mods
I was having a mouse lag issue in Dead Space, and I followed the useful instructions here which completely solved that problem. It introduced another problem, however, which is that the mouse sensitivity is very, very low even when the sensitivity bar in the options is turned all the way up. Luckily I have an expensive gaming mouse and I can increase the sensitivity on the mouse to make it playable, but it's still too low even after doing that. When I right click to aim, sweeping the mouse over a foot turns the view about 30 degrees. It's more playable than it was with the mouse lag
I'm playing Terminus. I just rm-ed the huge boulder out of my path, so now I have access to the farm: >cd Farm You have moved to Farm. There was once a farm of some sort here, but now the fields are scorched and brown. >ls Locations: Items: EarOfCorn Farmer Okay...what do I do here? >less EarOfCorn The corn is sad and withered-looking. Not helpful. >less Farmer "Ruined... the man for help >man mkdir there is no man page for that command How can I help the poor farmer?
