  • A Timely Offer (Glass arrows, thieves' guild) Daywatch

In the Ragged Flagon there's a note addressed to Delvin named 'A Timely Offer'. Apparently there should be a shipment of glass arrows under the docks somewhere - has anyone actually found this mythical shipment, or have I just been wasting my time poking around the docks?

  • I found it: Outside the Mistveil Keep Barracks door (labeled on local map) there are 3 barrels and 1 is labeled Thief cache. It has Glass Arrows and other misc items.

To clarify - you have to enter the Keep Barracks, go up the stairs, then out the door to 'Riften'. The 'Thief Cache' barrel is up there.

  • I was reading the UESP wiki's "Skyrim Glitches" article, when I came upon this gem: Invisible Exploding Fireball Arrows These can only be acquired while on the quest Rise in the East... by playing through a particular quest and "catching" the arrows. These are actually created by an unnamed invisible arrow, and it is possible to stockpile these arrows on your character by being hit with them. • What is the effect of having Comms "phone ahead" to a Starbase in advance to advise them of your arrival? Does it improve the speed at which they will refill and repair your ship? • In The Chase, I followed the black ghost thing through the level until I got to a point where the only path I can see leads to a glass box. When I walk into the box and turn around, I am surrounded by glass on all sides and I can see the ghost moving outside of the box. The ghost sighting seems to indicate I was supposed to go there, but once I am in the box I can't figure out what to do next. What am I supposed to do one I enter the glass box?

Though I can't recall the name I remember there was a quest in which you sent a message to a woman about why mining operations were slow and that the shipment would be there soon. After, if you go back to the quest giver's house you can take all the ingots

  • -looking. Part of that is adding windows--both for the nice look and to make it easier to determine the time of day. So far, I've only added windows in rooms away from my bed, since I am not sure about the safety of glass. I know that unless they are in pursuit mode, non-spider mobs cannot see a player through glass. Spiders are not a problem, because they just congregate and make noise on the roof. The Glass Page on the wiki says that "Spider Jockeys can shoot their arrows through glass and cause damage.[citation needed]" So, two main questions: Can Spider Jockeys shoot through glass

  • I play using a sword, shield, bow, and arrows(and a horse of course). I know intelligence isn't incredibly important because I can just let my companions have the party skills, but what Strength/Agility/Charisma ratio should I get for my build?

  • I'm thinking about building some glass structures in the Nether on my friends' SMP server (once 1.6 is released), and haven't spent enough time in SP to determine this for myself since I like to work on the SMP server... so, can Ghast fireballs break glass? I intend to make fully-enclosed structures that are too small for Ghasts to spawn inside of, but I want to make sure that an errant Ghast fireball fired while someone's outside won't end up destroying my structure. I checked the wiki entry on glass, and it discusses arrows and spider jockey arrows, but nothing about Ghast fireballs.
