So I married Cosnatch, the drunk brawler from Markarth, and am quite happy with my choice. He is hilarious and good to have around in battle. However, as I continue with quests and faction storylines, I am noticing that occasionally the reward is that you can take on another follower from time to time. (Ex. Cicero in the Dark Brotherhood) I do not wish to off my husband, but when I ask him to "wait" in our home, then try to employ another follower, they all just say "You already have someone in your party."
Am I to believe that once you take your beloved on an adventure with you, you have to miss the perks of several quests? (There is also a Daedric Quest where you must lead a Follower to death, which would be null and void unless I wanted poor Cosnatch dead.) Or am I missing an obvious step? If I tell him we should "part ways", will he remain in our home? Will I be able to eventually travel with him again? This part of the game is not very clear.
You don't have to make him wait, you need to select the option "It's time for us to part ways" (or something similar).
Don't worry, he'll be at your home, this doesn't mean a divorce. Marriage and followers are two different things
I am playing BG2:EE on the iPad, and its wonderful to relive some of the stories and battles that I have when I originally played it as a younger teen. With Anomen, I had forgotten that some quests are truly time sensitive, so he left the party while I was in the middle of exploring a dungeon, and the quest log indicated the quest as a "Done quest" for Anomen, noting that he simply went back to his home in the Gov District to investigate his sister's murder. My question is - is there any way that I could get him back in the party so I could continue this story line? I searched through many
before going back to Markarth (so I would not be attacked anymore) and Farkas is no where around. I do not want to look for him in the museum because that will start a huge mess again. I have also looked back at Whiterun (his home) and he is not there. I have tried to ask other people to follow me like Vilkas, etc, and they say "looks like you already have someone with you". Possible Duplicate: My follower is attacking someone. Can I get him/her to stop? Ok, so I'm in Windhelm trying to level the pickpocket skill without cheating or using tips from wikis and I find it a good idea to try the local blacksmith. I pickpocket successfully twice and then I try for a magic ring he happens to have. I fail and he and his daughter start attacking me. I yield and they stop attacking me but my follower continues to attack them and now I can't shop in Windhelm. As we all know it is very bad to attack and kill shopkeepers so, any way to get my Follower to stop
Early on in my quest, Dryston would not stop fighting in a fist fight so I accidentally ended up killing him. Since then I have had to kill all Markarth guards I see, so my bounty is quite high... I have now sided with the Stormcloaks against the Empire - And all the current side quests are in Markarth. Every single one. I am at level 48, so can survive until I go through a door or move... and imprison me. Not sure if this is because I have a follower and a dog - the dog especially is a bit aggressive. Anything I can do without resorting to console commands? I'd rather not have to start
In the early stages of my game I bought Vigilance (the dog) from the Markarth stables. I then went on to build a house and adopt children, one of the children asked me if they could keep the dog. I replied yes as I wasn't really using him that much. I recently tried to buy an armoured troll and was told to dismiss my other animal. Assuming it was Vigilance, I headed back to my house looking for him, but he is nowhere to be found. I have already been married and escorted Barbas so I cannot think of any other ways to clear my animal companion slot. I'm on Xbox 360, can anyone help?
up doing loads of quests that I had done before, so I didn't click on him to begin any of the quests that he offers, and instead left the underground dwelling of the scale lord to make my way elsewhere... and delight, Korven took part in the battle, though he didn't seem to be doing much damage. Anyway, my question is this: How can I keep Korven the prime as my pet? I imagine that he will continue to follow me as long as I don't take any of his quests and/or complete them. If I leave the dread wastes will I lost him? I'm reluctant to try it just in case I leave and find that he no longer follows me around
In Avadon 1, each companion had a loyalty mission which would cement them to your side. It appears as if Avadon 2 has the same concept. I'm playing a Blademaster, and want a Blademaster/Tinkermage/Mage party, so my other two members are always Yannick and Alcander. I stumbled upon Alcander's quest after my first visit to The Corruption, but I'm pretty sure I would have missed it if he hadn't been in my party at the time.
