In Q.U.B.E (steam game), I can make it all the way up to the first few laser puzzles with no issues, but then my FPS will suddenly drop to 10-20.
My PC specs are as follows:
I will normally get 60+ FPS up until said point.
This is a major issue for me as I am trying to record a let's play of the game, and I cannot progress if my FPS is so horrible!
Note: The FPS is horrible even if I'm not recording.
Well I finally figured out the cause of this.
As I am recording with Fraps, and Fraps uses the HDD relentlessly, my disk was rapidly becoming fragmented as I recorded.
Whenever I encounter this issue again, running a quick defrag fixes it right up!
I am having extreme frame drop issues when recording Minecraft with Fraps. I can record any other game just fine at 60fps and 1080p. Minecraft will normally run at 120+ fps, but when I record, it drops down to ~25. It doesn't matter if I change the recording resolution or what, I keep getting horrible FPS when recording Minecraft. Here are my PC specs: AMD Phenom II X4 965 OC'[email protected] 3.68Ghz... defragging my disc, I was able to get Fraps up to 40 FPS. I feel like I should be able to get up to 60 though...
I am trying to play with the optimal settings regarding game performance. But yet again, I still enjoy playing with some great graphical settings. To balance this out, I would love to know; Are there any way that I can see my FPS in-game? Or track the FPS after a game? (EDIT: I often use the unit preloader aswell - I can recommend this)
help, did both updates at once, nothing. Right now I have all three of the current AMD Driver Updates, still low FPS. I even had to lowered my graphics to low (cringe) and my FPS is unchanged. I've also checked for Windows 7 updates. After trying for a few hours I decided that I would just suck it up and only use my laptop for playing Far Cry 3. Until today, I saw they released a patch...Alright this is just baffling me. I have never had performance issues on my Desktop unless its just an easy Driver Update. The worst part is that my Laptop has no issues playing Far Cry 3. My
I recently installed rage on my PC, expecting to run smoothly after i played it on a less powerful pc having a decent FPS, BUT! Here comes the plot twist, because after I start a new game, (the pre-rendered cinematics running okay ofcourse) and get in the actual game, I literally get 0FPS, the game 'updates' every 2-3 seconds so it takes like 2 minutes open start menu etc. My PC is more than enough for this game, so what can be the problem? Am I missing something? 0FPS PC SPECS: Processor: AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition @3,9Ghz RAM: 8GB Kingston 1333MHz Videocard: MSI HD6790
Something similar is happening to me. When I open the game (or any game on my PC) it will go to a high FPS (like 60+) but then i can watch the frame rate tick down slowly until it hovers around 10-13 FPS. It does this to EVERY game. but it isn't that my computer can't handle it (Borderlands 2 suggests all settings on high). It also makes no difference what the video settings are for Borderlands 2. One more thing, when I alt-tab out and then back in the frame rate goes up to 25-30 and then starts to fall back to crap. This is driving me MAD! Can anyone please help me? System Total amount
want to be able to sell items I pick up) matter? It seems I am unable to trade in european AH (even if i didn't care about different currencies). IDEA 1: I understand that you can switch items between characters. Will this cover me, should I want to sell an item in RMAH? i.e. switch it to player in my region, sell from there ? NO MORE IDEAS: Do I have any options available...THE ISSUE First, understand the background --> here I am Australian D3 player I didn't check region and started playing (it turns out it defaulted to European servers) Now I'm level 50 I tried
the game with touchpad only and no external devices Playing with a different mouse Jimnms interface key fix (discussion thread) It doesn't fix the problem I am having but it does tell you the proper keys...On Skyrim for PC, whenever a yes/no dialog pops up ("Are you sure you want to exit alchemy?"), or a dialog with just 'ok'("You learned the _ enchantment"), I can't do anything. I can't right click... I can do. The sound still works and the hover effects for buttons still works, so the game hasn't crashed, but the game becomes unplayable. What should I do? I use a mouse. I don't have any mods
When I had my old laptop, I could run Minecraft quite fine, even with the Amazing Shaders mod. When I got my brand new laptop, I could already imagine the possibilities. 2000+ fps. No lag. I... the fps when I hit F3, 93. 93? It didn't look like 93, but I continued to fly around my world relatively smoothly. One and a half minutes later, the "exponential lag" occurred. Two seconds, one frame. Four seconds, one frame. Eight seconds, one frame. This got so bad, it took a while just to exit the game! Is there any way I can play Minecraft fast ever again? Is it my graphics? CPU? RAM? Please help
Possible Duplicate: How can I record demos of my gameplay? I have looked at a few choices: I liked Fraps, but it's $37 for the full version. dxtory was good but the video quality wasn't clear. I wasn't able to use virtualdub because i did not have the hardware to go with it. Camstudio is only for windows xp. My question is, is there a free screen recorder that has no limit on how long a video is that can also record audio and have a clear video quality? The quality doesn't have to be HD, but not horrible either.
