Borderlands Mac OS X version play online with Windows version?
I am trying to play a game of Borderlands over LAN with an Ethernet cord. My friend owns a PC and I have a Mac. I connected us up and checked if we'd established a LAN, then I launched Borderlands and clicked on LAN game, but he can't find me. Is there something I can do to fix this?
Me and my brother have been tying to step up a LAN to play minecraft. I have a mac running Mac OS X and he is using a pc running window's 7. We have tried with him creating the LAN world and when I try to automatically it gives a message that it has 'time out' and when I do Direct connect it fails and gives a message 'connection refused'. When I host the game and he does direct connected it gives the same message. We are both running the same version. Anyone have any ideas ???
I recently purchased Rome Total War: Gold via the Mac App Store on OS X Lion. I have had a lot of fun playing the single player campaign. However, when I try to access multiplayer to battle against my friends by going to Multiplayer → LAN Battles, I get to enter my player name, but after that the game freezes for a short while and an error appears: Failed to connect to LAN The error occurs in the normal version as well as in Barbarian Invasion. My friend (on a Windows machine) does get into the lobby after entering his player name. I disabled all and any firewalls and antivirus
Possible Duplicate: Is it possible to circumvent the port-forwarding requirements for GFWL? According to GFWL, you need to forward various ports (like port 80) in order to play online; this is especially true for Dark Souls. The full list of ports are here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937424 Now say I have 2 PCs on the same network who want to play the same GFWL game. How can I play online when it requires those ports forwarded for each PC? Looking at the port forward settings, you can only enter 1 LAN IP but you need both those PCs to have those ports open for GFWL. How can
Possible Duplicate: Age Of Empires III : Lag in Multiplayer game ( LAN ) Hi all, I am trying to play Age Of Empires 3 through LAN between my PC and Laptop. My PC and Laptop is connected by a Ethernet cable through a modem. Now I have 256MB ATI RADEON graphics card and I am able to play the game very smoothly, even with high graphics settings enabled when in a single Player game. But when playing in LAN, I see a lag for every second. But what confuses me is that, there is no such lag in my PC. The game in PC runs the same, even in Multiplayer game. What might be the problem here

Trying to get Mac and PC Borderlands 2 to play together over LAN Game Ranger's Mac client doesn't have Borderlands 2. Hamachi did not work. Also tried Tunngle, to no avail. We both have the same version of BL2 with all DLCs. Is there any way for us to play together?
My friend brought his PC laptop to my house so we could play minecraft. I have a mac with Mountain Lion, but it isn't a laptop. Whenever I start a world and open it to LAN, he can't find it on his laptop. When he makes a world and opens it to LAN, it says that there is no external link. I have come to believe that Mac and PC cannot play in the same LAN world, but I'm wrong all the time. We both have accounts. Please help?
