I'm stuck on one last trophy for Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet:
Take that, Villain!
Defeated an enemy with a parry.
I've looked up a couple guides and they seem to say the same thing:
This trophy will pop up during natural gaming. Block an enemy’s attack with [circle] and then hit [square] immediately after to execute a parry.
Well, it certainly didn't come with natural gameplay and I haven't had any problems getting the rest of the trophies. But this one still eludes me. No matter what I try, I can't seem to get this to work. I hold [circle] to block and then immediately hit [square], the guy dies, and nothing happens.
Can anyone shed some light or be more specific on what needs to happen? Obviously I'm doing something wrong and can't figure out what it is. I figure since it says "Defeated" they have to die from the hit, so I tried weakening the enemy first, then blocking and attacking so they die instantly.
Are there any specific enemies that are easier to do this with, on specific levels? I've been trying this for hours along with finishing heroic feats and now I've pretty much finished everything else and am still left with this.
Parrying requires you to block just as the attack hits, not before it.
Rather than holding O, try pressing O just as the enemy's attack is about to hit, then when the attack is blocked, attack with Square
that farming bosses to get the legendary you want is the way to go, but the one thing I can't seem to find out is: Do any of the mini-bosses (and therefore, their loot drop) scale with your level? Note... Possible Duplicate: What factors determine enemy levels or: How do enemy levels scale to the player character’s? I'm currently working my way through Borderlands 2, first play-through... replacement. I then hit upon the brilliant idea of revisiting Boom Bewm a few times and farm another one. Except, they hadn't levelled up at all. I killed them pretty easily a couple of times and managed
I'm playing through the iPhone version of "Command And Conquer - Red Alert". I've played older variants of C&C on other platforms so I know generally how RTS games work. But what I cannot seem to figure out is some specific controls for some units - in particular, I'm on a level that asks me to use an engineer to blow up a bridge, but I have no idea how to use an engineer to do anything but capture enemy buildings (and that I had to figure out for myself). Nor can I find the point of some buildings like a defense center. Since the in-game guide is very basic and does not answer
I already checked the other question about it (How do I get all 3 characters together for the "Three man army" trophy?) but I still can't make it. I've done the final mission and chose option C... ...(not to kill Trevor and Michael). But now if I'm with Trevor and call Michael to hangout he accepts it, but before I pick him up I call Franklin and he's busy or not answering. It's always happening with every other combinations. Does anyone else have this problem?
I have just played through The Last Of Us on hard and now I'm aiming for the platinum trophy. In order to get that I need to get the trophies awarded for completing the game on easy - survivor and easy+ - survivor+. My question is in what order I should play the different difficulty modes. Easy - hard are already completed so I've survivor and easy+ - survivor+ left. It really depends on these questions: Is survivor+ unlocked when hard+ is completed or do I have to play survivor first? If yes, is the trophy for completing survivor awarded when completing survivor+?
to talk about. I can't seem to figure out how to pass this message along. I've tried sending a letter to the other player that includes the key word, but I've never received any kind of acknowledgment for my efforts. How exactly does my neighbor want me to pass on this message, and what is the reward (if any) for doing so? ...From time to time, a neighbor will ask me to take a message to another player in my Animal Crossing: City Folk game: I have a message I want you to take to him. , and we are allowed to move only once on each tile, except if we have special power-ups. The main character is the yellow square. The dark grey square is a power-up which allows to move several times on the four following tiles. The circles launch fireballs after four steps. The red cross cancels any power-up. And there is this new power-up with a crossed-out leaf. It seems I cannot understand the meaning of the hint: Some leaves will free if you hit a fireball on its crystal. What am I supposed to do? Edit If you want to try this level yourself, just create a new file called
So far the only way I've found to take people down without killing them is Sleep Darts. None of my skills (that I've noticed) seem to be able to knock people out/put them to sleep. I noticed the "parry" button is also "choke" but when sneaking up on someone and pressing parry I just block, I don't seem to choke them; I'm also unsure whether that's lethal or not. What are all the ways to knock someone unconscious? There seem to be very few.
In the Last of Us, an enemy sometimes will pounce me and grapple. A sort of quick-time event popups up with a square symbol bouncing around the screen; it seems to respond to my joystick movement to position itself on the screen, but I don't know if it's true. What is this quick time event and how do I win the tussle? My game plan so far has been smashing square and wobbling the joystick but I'd like to know for sure.
, and even if I do, I can't then get Mediguarded in time to survive their initial onslaught. What am I doing wrong? None of the strategies I've read elsewhere seem to indicate that I should be having...I've finished the storyline and am now finishing all the missions. Up to this point, there have been many battles that took a few tries, but never any battles that I felt I had to grind for. A few moments' thought, a carefully-crafted Paradigm deck, and a bespoke strategy have gotten me through every battle at the moment I encountered it. I'm now in Titan's Trials, I've gone through one set
