I just started a new character on 11th April 2012. After completing the kill-a-dragon-at-western-tower quest, and buying Breezehome, I now appear to have a greeting committee of bandits after fast travel.
First, upon leaving Breezehome, the bandits from Embershard Mine appeared and were helpfully cut down by guards and citizens. This was the first go-kill-guys-over-there quest I picked up in the game, the bounty from Falkreath, and the quest was completed as soon as all the bandits died in Whiterun. I fast travelled to Falkreath to hand in the bounty to Nenya (2 transitions - Whiterun to Falkreath, Falkreath to Jarl's house). I then fast travelled to Riverwood, then to Whiterun (total 4 transitions), when the bandits from Valtheim Keep spawned and were killed by guards (Companions quest; incidentally the second go-kill-them-over-there quest I picked up).
This may be a patch 1.5.26 bug, related to the issue described here: Why did enemies spawn around me when I fast traveled after the latest patch?
I'm using Windows 7, Skyrim 1.5.26, SkyUI, and a couple of other mods (alchemy storage, weapon crafting, better horses).
Is anyone else getting this or similar behaviour?
Added Observations: It seems that going into Breezehome for the first time after getting the quest to kill the bandits from Halted Stream Camp from The Bannered Mare spawns the bandits in the house. After some testing, it appears that fast travelling to Riverwood will cause the quest marker to appear in Whiterun, and the bandits to spawn there after fast travelling to Whiterun. I also notice that the spawn point seems to be the doorway of Breezehome. What in Tamriel is going on?
It's part of the game's AI. Everytime you fast travel. The time is fast forwarded and most of the NPCs and enemies(such as crabs, wolves and other animals) are respawned. Sometimes the bandits too are treated this way and they end up appearing in the wrong place when you fast travel. There is nothing much to worry about. You should only be concerned when you are cornered by 10 dragons after you've fast travelled xD

I've tried many things. - Waiting weeks and killing the other dragons that spawn. - Killing Farkas. - Marring Farkas. (Gay) - Getting others to kill Farkas. My last save was after I killed the dragon too. Also I am on the Xbox. Thanks...After completing the Companions quest line, I went on to do the side missions afterwards. I started with Farkas on the quest Dragon Seekers. Our target was the dragon at Bonestrewn Crest. I fast
Here's the scenario: I was doing the 'Bound Until Death' quest for the Dark Brotherhood, and unlike my first playthrough, I actually got attacked by the guards, and got a bounty for killing the bride and the guards. I encountered another guard at the entrance of Solitude, and he demanded I pay my bounty of 1040 gold. Which I did. At this point, instead of going back to the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, I fast travelled to Riften to complete a quest, but upon entering the town after my fast travel, I was confronted by a guard that demanded I pay my bounty (9040 gold this time). Mind you, I
made it to the gates and exited, he followed me through the gates but I whirlwind sprinted to Shadowmere then attempted to fast travel - which game me the "Can not fast travel when guards are pursuing you" message even though no guards were following me. I knew Farkas wasn't far behind so I quickly jumped on a carriage and I traveled to the nearest hold which was Dawnstar. Now I can't leave...I was doing a quest for the companions. When I entered Jorrvaskr, Farkas pulled out his sword and began to talk to me. Every time I would try to leave the conversation he would just follow me and try
not kill the dragon in that area at that time. On arriving at the Haafingar camp, I noticed a dragon flying around and roaring. It didn't attack me, or appear as a red dot, but the Stormcloaks did prep... in Whiterun). Personally, I like to store my items in Riverwood's barrels since they're so close to the entrance where I appear when I fast travel. I have a total of five barrels there that are heaping full of items that I have accumulated since the very beginning of my quest. Just today, I went back to drop off a bunch of loot when I realized the barrels were all reset to salt piles and apples. I... items. I reloaded the game and served my jail sentence (it was the 27th of Evening Star when I went in, 4th of Morning Star when I got out). Went back to Riverwood and the barrels were still full
Possible Duplicate: How do I find my follower if and when they leave me? So I became the thane of whiterun and got my first companion and she traveled around with me until I got bored and started killing the whiterun guards. I accidentally took on the jarl and his men. After winning and running away, I couldn't find her anymore. I wouldn't care but she had 3 dragons worth of bones and scales on her. I didn't tell her to stay anywhere either, any suggestions on where I need to look? I've also conquered whiterun for the stormcloaks, will that prevent me from getting her back?
Possible Duplicate: Where can I buy sawn logs for all the different plots in Hearthfire? I need more logs to finish up my house and the quest tells me to buy lumber. I've traveled to Riverwood to speak with the guy working by the sawmill but there's no dialog about buying wood from him. I've tried to cut the logs myself at the sawmill and no luck there either. How can I get logs or lumber?
Early on in my quest, Dryston would not stop fighting in a fist fight so I accidentally ended up killing him. Since then I have had to kill all Markarth guards I see, so my bounty is quite high... I have now sided with the Stormcloaks against the Empire - And all the current side quests are in Markarth. Every single one. I am at level 48, so can survive until I go through a door or move to another area, and eventually I run out of potions/arrows/strength. It doesn't appear that I can simply surrender myself, despite trying after reading this question - they always attack rather than try
