An issue with large map for Tamriel Rebuilt mod

  • An issue with large map for Tamriel Rebuilt mod infinite jest

I'm playing with Tamriel Rebuilt installed and I am using Morrowind Code Patch to get map expansion so that the whole map is visible, for some of my savegames there seems to be a problem when the two old and the new maps overlap like this:. It seems that the original map is on top of the MCP map. This is the issue only with some savegame files, for others it works as intended, is there any way to fix this? For Oblivion there were some utilities which could update savegame files, are there similar tools for Morrowind?

  • As the Morrowind Code Patch tells you when you change this option, you need to use the "Update Map" function of Wrye Mash (Morrowind's version of Wrye Bash) to have the correct map on a game saved before changing.

  • I have a problem with running Morrowind Overhaul - Sounds And Graphics on my fresh Morrowind installation (through Steam). I deactivated Steam Overlay, even deactivated ingame MGE, but when I press on "New" to start a new game in the loading screen it crashes to desktop. I also checked all options and I can't find issues. The problem itself is reproduceable as it happens everytime I try. Until this point everything seems to load fine. What can I do to make me lose once again a time of youth in Morrowind? If you need any more information, please let me know. Windows 8 AMD FX-8150 GTX 670

  • ; incidentally the second go-kill-them-over-there quest I picked up). This may be a patch 1.5.26 bug, related to the issue described here: Why did enemies spawn around me when I fast traveled after... some testing, it appears that fast travelling to Riverwood will cause the quest marker to appear in Whiterun, and the bandits to spawn there after fast travelling to Whiterun. I also notice that the spawn point seems to be the doorway of Breezehome. What in Tamriel is going on?

  • I need to reinstall my system and and want to do a completely new clean install. I have everything backed up except Steam. I tried many mods over the years and ended with my own favourite mix for Elder Scrolls Morrowind. I also edited config file, replaced some texture files etc. My question is; if I use the backup feature in Steam to create backup of my Morrowind settings, does it preserve everything inside Morrowind folder - mods, saves, modified ini files etc so when I restore from backup could I use my own modified version the way I left it when making the backup?

  • I'm trying to complete the "Viatrix, The Annoying Pilgrim" quest. I can't find a way to get to the shrine. It seems the shrine is on a hill, although I can't confirm since I have to seen it other than in this map. Accepted answer needs to have a map similar to mine, with a line drawn to what path I need to follow to get there.

  • Possible Duplicate: Can I view the outcomes of decisions from past games? I played through ME2 rather haphazardly, saving, reloading, and branching games. I'm not sure what choices I made in the savegame I ended up importing, especially with respect to the heretic geth etc. Is there a way, perhaps with some savegame magic, to get a list of the choices I made in ME2?

  • So I finished the main story. I got back to Tamriel, expected some kind of a ... reward. You know, for saving the world etc. But nobody I've spoken to seems to care at all about that. Am I doing something wrong or is the main storyline actually ... not that 'main'? In Oblivion, after finishing the game, I got a title, equipment, everybody talked to me like to a hero, there was this big Martin Dragon in the Talos Plaza in IC, but nothing grandiose seems to be here this time :/ I don't mean this question as a request for opinions, I know that is not allowed at stackexchange, I just want

  • Is there any way I can transfer my current progress in game from one PC to another. During day I am playing on my office computer and in the evening on my personal computer at home? Any idea where the savegame files are located or how this works? The issue is that when I log in from another PC with the same account I don't have the characters.

  • There is some kind of memory issue with Cities XL which makes the game slower as the population increases. There have been various workarounds (like going back to the map screen and then back to the game once in a while). Is there any fix/patch for that?

  • I have just updated my PS3 to firmware 4.11 and it no longer plays MP4/M4V files. (via DLNA using PS3 MediaServer). The update to the firmware is the only change in the environment. Is this a known issue, and will files need to be re-encoded differently to work? (AVI files do play fine.)
