Can followers be used to keep stolen items from “the law”?
I'm asking this because I started a new game to get stuff done that I didn't do before and I'm about to join the thieves' guild. For the starting quest I remember getting pinched for stealing something. I finished the quest for the Golden Claw and stole it back but I don't have anywhere to stash it.
To stop it from getting taken when I get arrested, I was wondering if I could leave it on my follower and have it not be taken?
Possible Duplicate: Cannot Get a new Radiant Quest from Companions in Skyrim I have completed all the Companion's major quests and did a single radiant quest to go fetch a family heirloom... werewolf perks and stuff I decided I wanted to do the quests to get the totems. However, I now have no options to get a quest from anyone in the companions, and don't have the miscellaneous quest... have no option to get a quest. Have tried having them as my followers but that doesn't help.
I'm playing through the extra content (Piu-Piu's maze), and I've stolen several powerful pieces of equipment from bosses - such as the Agent's golden armor and the Executioner's Spine. What I'm wondering is if there are other ways to get items like this, or if they have to be stolen from bosses. Since you only get one shot at the bosses, that would mean missing the steal prevents you from ever getting that item (and also from getting full completion) on that playthrough.
Possible Duplicate: Do I earn less experience or items if I have a follower? In Diablo 3, is there any penalty for taking follower (compared to playing alone)? I'm aware monster's HP scales with the size of group (for every extra player monster gets +75% HP, if I'm not mistaken).
Possible Duplicate: Do I earn less experience or items if I have a follower? When giving my follower a ring with + Magic Find or + Kill XP, will I benefit from it, too? I assume MF does affect me since a follower cannot loot anything but for XP I'm pretty unsure since followers do have their own XP bar.
Possible Duplicate: Where do confiscated items go? I found Calixto's Journal (which I assume is related to the Blood on Ice quest in Windhelm) early on in my looting and then forgot about it. Later on, I was arrested in Solitude, and had all my stolen items confiscated from me. Now, I have begun the Blood on Ice quest, and it seems that the journal has become important. Is there anywhere that confiscated items are stored, or are they simply removed from existence?

Possible Duplicate: My follower is attacking someone. Can I get him/her to stop? Ok, so I'm in Windhelm trying to level the pickpocket skill without cheating or using tips from wikis and I find it a good idea to try the local blacksmith. I pickpocket successfully twice and then I try for a magic ring he happens to have. I fail and he and his daughter start attacking me. I yield and they stop attacking me but my follower continues to attack them and now I can't shop in Windhelm. As we all know it is very bad to attack and kill shopkeepers so, any way to get my Follower to stop
I'm looking for the last crystal piece and it's supposed to be in Volkrund Keep, but I can't get in (even if my follower opens uses the lever there's another closed door). Who gives the quest connected to that place or is there a way to complete Dreams In Oblivion without it?
I have a stolen army car but won't let me store it in my garage, i have taken it to los santos customs and got it fixed and says i can get insurance but Is there any where I can store it or not ?
