How do I change my name in Minecraft multiplayer offline mode in windows?
Open up a notepad file, and put this command into it.
java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -cp "%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\*" \ -Djava.library.path="%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\natives" \ net.minecraft.client.Minecraft "yourusername"
yourusername with whatever name you wish. Save the notepad file as
You can use that file to now run minecraft with your name changed. (you may have to go into your folder options and enable the viewing of system files to see the customname.bat after you have saved it depending on your current windows settings)
The easiest way that I know of is to use a cracked client. That way you can easily change your username and keep track of different usernames that you have used on different servers.
java -Xincgc -Xmx1024m -cp "%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar;%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\lwjgl.jar;%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\lwjgl_util.jar;%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\jinput.jar" -Djava.library.path="%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\natives" net.minecraft.client.Minecraft>debug.txt 2>&1

Possible Duplicate: How to change player name in minecraft multiplayer in offline mode in Linux? I installed some mods for Minecraft recently, and because of this I can only run the game using the EXE. But the problem with that is I can no longer use the old .bat trick and create a script to change my name. How can I change my name using the command-line of the Minecraft.exe?
Right now, when I start the game, my profile shows that I have no stars, and I am apparently an "anonymedalist". I have no idea what that means, or why that is - I have played a bunch of events in both Story mode and the Medley Match mode, and gotten medals. How do I get stars, or change my rank name?
I already completed Borderlands 2 on normal mode many month's ago. But without any DLC. Now I have all released 4 DLC and my version is 1.7.0. I want start play again from level 1. This post pretty much summarizes my question : How do I change player name in minecraft multiplayer in offline mode in Linux? I know for a fact that Mac and Linux are both Unix based And the commands for Linux should work for Mac, but with limited knowledge for programming I couldn't get it to work. When I started dating Iroha, during the scene she says how she dreams of calling the person she is with by another name. When I went to change the name I though she was referring to her name being changed but when it came up with my name I just reconfirmed it (in other words saying I want my name changed to my exact same name). Now I am wondering: When Iroha (or any other girl if they do the same) asked if I wanted to be called something else, if I chose something more personal like "dear" or "honey" or even something not personal would the change only affect how she addressed me or also
times, it seems the cops are only trying to attack my car while sparing the AI racer. Is the concept of an undercover cop only available for human racers in multiplayer mode? Or is it possible for an AI racer (during offline play) to be an undercover cop? If yes, how can I tell? ...In NFS Rivals, as a cop, I can choose an undercover car that resembles those of the racers. While playing as a racer myself (especially offline), I've often wondered if any of the AI racers that I
I recently purchased Rome Total War: Gold via the Mac App Store on OS X Lion. I have had a lot of fun playing the single player campaign. However, when I try to access multiplayer to battle against my friends by going to Multiplayer → LAN Battles, I get to enter my player name, but after that the game freezes for a short while and an error appears: Failed to connect to LAN The error occurs in the normal version as well as in Barbarian Invasion. My friend (on a Windows machine) does get into the lobby after entering his player name. I disabled all and any firewalls and antivirus
Due me testing out various mods, I've created a cloned .minecraft folder called ".minecraft_modtesting" . In my normal MC folder I've got a batch file with start /high javaw -Xmx2048M -Xms1024M -Djava.library.path=bin/natives -cp bin/minecraft.jar;bin/jinput.jar;bin/lwjgl.jar;bin/lwjgl_util.jar net.minecraft.client.Minecraft "name" "password" However, I can't use this in ".minecraft_modtesting" because it starts the minecraft.jar from the ".minecraft" directory. How can I change that please?
