I am just starting out in Assassin's Creed 2, trying to associate a given action with the button it is bound to. I find myself continually pressing the button for Eagle Vision, and I can't seem to exit this mode until I find an actionable item and activate it. How do I exit Eagle Vision mode?
If the PC version is like the 360 version, you hold the button you used to activate Eagle Vision for around 2-3 seconds.
I'm playing Assassin's Creed III on a Wii U and I'm using a Wii U gamepad. How do I access the map? What button should I press? I'm not talking about the gamepad map; I'm talking about the big map.
No sure if this is a general Windows 7 question or particular to Assassin's Creed 2. How do I change the display adapter that the game starts in? EDIT: Without changing the whole "Main Display" setting of Windows
When playing Assassin's Creed:Recollection, whenever I tap "Versus Mode" on the manu screen, it gets to the Game Center matchmaking screen as normal and usually gives me an "estimated wait time" of around 10-20 seconds. However, when I tap "Find Players," it will wait for a few seconds and then bring me back to the menu screen, without any indication of what went wrong. Even when I try several times it always gives the same result. What is the proble, and is there anything that I can do to fix it?
I just fired up Assassin's Creed 2 and let it idle, which I haven't done before. The idle movie that played involved Ezio chasing down a man during the festival in Venice, cornering him in an alley, and then shooting him with the gun attachment to the hidden blade - upgrades that I just recently unlocked in my save. "Cool!", I thought, "it's giving me a recap of what I just did in-game!" But then it occurred to me that maybe there's only one movie and they simply chose to show off some of the more neato-sweeto tools of the assassin's trade. Does the Assassin's Creed 2 opening cinematic
This is regarding the ending of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. I have marked the question below as a spoiler, so please do not hover over it if you haven't played through the game yet! At the end of the game, Desmond is forced to kill Lucy. Prior to him stabbing her, you basically button-mash until he makes the strike. Is there an alternate ending or a way to avoid killing her, such as a sequence of buttons to break free? For context, I have only recently finished Brotherhood, and have not begun Revelations yet, so I'd appreciate any answers that avoid future-game content.
One of the passwords in Assassin's Creed 2 deals with Thomas Edison and J.P. Morgan trying to discredit Nikola Tesla in order to prevent alternating current from freeing the people, or something like... there's a clue in the photos provided to explain how to align the cipher wheel, but I can't seem to find that either. There's a symbol in the "Dearborn Independent" that contains two lines and two dots...does that have anything to do with it? What is the solution to the Edison / Ford 139 cipher, and what clue am I supposed to use to figure the solution out?
I find myself getting locked in combat with a group of enemies and unable to run and hide easily or at all and end up button mashing my controller attempting to get my assassin to run away. It is incredibly frustrating since I have always been able to run away while engaging in combat in previous assassin's creed games. Any advice on how to get my assassin to quickly remove himself from his combat stance and run away?
How in the heck do you jump backwards off the wall in Assassin's Creed 2 for the PC? I press the high profile button w and then tap space and the direction I want to go and just keep falling off and never jumping the direction I want to go. I've been trying for about an hour and am about ready to find the creators of this game...
So I'm farming candy at the Castle's Entrance. I have equipped the Boots of Introspection, the obsidian Octopus crown, and the Monkey Wizard's enchanted staff. Trouble is, I'm now stuck behind a giant wall of Octopus minions and can't get to the exit. I've been spamming teleport but it hasn't gotten me any closer, and more often than not sends me right back to the start. If I start spamming acid rain instead, will it do enough damage to the octopi so that I can jump my way clear? Or is my only hope the exit without loot button and lose the ~2 million candies I've accumulated so far?
