These cutscenes are significantly louder than the rest of the game, so I have to turn down my speakers every time I go through a mass relay. Is there any way to skip these scenes?
According to this link it was possible in Mass Effect 1 by editing a configuration file. However, that file doesn't seem to exist for Mass Effect 3.
I noticed this too, it was very frustrating when I was pulling an all-nighter to finish the game! I'm sure there are more detailed options on the PC, but on the Xbox 360 version if you go to audio settings and turn off "high dynamic range" (or something similar) these scenes become much quieter. I think this option is on by default. It's geared towards high-end audio systems but it's not much use on tinny built-in monitor speakers like mine. Hope this helps!
Sorry you can't skip the Mass Relay cutscenes and i know that because i have tried and i agree the sound is much lounder than in Mass Effect 1 and 2.
Unfortunately you cant, Mass effect uses that time to load the next set of graphics. I have mine on an ssd drive which should load that in next to no time, but because its been ported from console they haven't bothered to allow that cut scene to be skipped i guess.
It's possible, provided you are happy with skipping all of them. Simply go to your game folder + BIOGame/Movies and then rename or delete GLO_01_Relay.bik to something else. That will mean none of the mass effect relay movies will play at all.
Is there any way to skip cutscenes in the first Mass Effect game? I read somewhere that you could press space repeatedly, but that is not working. I'm having trouble with a post-cutscene fight and I'm annoyed I have to sit through the cutscene every time things go south.
If I start a new game in Mass Effect 3, without importing a save file, will the default story continue on with the same decisions that the default story of Mass Effect 2 had. Obviously here I'm... survived. In Mass Effect 2 Wrex was dead, the opposite gender from yourself survived Virmire (Ashley for male Shep, Kaiden for female Shep) and (as far as I can tell) the Rachni were killed. Obviously if I continue over a "default" Mass Effect 2 playthrough, then those decisions will also continue on (in addition to all of the Mass Effect 2 decisions I made) but if I start a new "default" Mass Effect 3
In the installation of the game there is a folder called \Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\Movies which appears to contain all the cutscenes from the game in a file format .bik. Is there anyway to play these outside of the game, or at least without having to play the whole game up to that point to see them?
I die a lot in Kingdom Hearts, especially during boss battles. Is there any way to skip the cutscenes that often occur before them? I am tired of seeing the same cutscene four or five times while I struggle with a particular boss.
I've already played through the first bit on the iPhone (but I hated the controls), so now that I am playing it on the PC (where I like it much better), I was hoping I could skip some of the early cutscenes. Is there a way to do this?
I may have skipped a point or convo or something. But I currently have a (female) Shepard file from Mass Effect 1 and I'm playing Mass Effect 2. In the original Mass Effect, the Shepard's love... and told her she can feed my fish when I'm away and even had the dinner scene. But, I can't go further than that. I know I'm supposed to be able to call her to the loft. but that's not showing up in the file. Did I skip a dialogue somewhere?
While I and a friend are playing respectively Mass effect on PC and on Xbox, I was wondering if there was any way to play the same co-op game, or if the 3 platforms get totally separated in the multy?
Where can I find a list of all the cutscenes in World of Warcraft? I am about to starting BC and I don't want to miss any of the lore cutscenes. Thanks
I would like to mod/eliminate the Geth 'Hunter mode' HUD, as it makes my eyes bleed. I am somewhat familiar with the Mass Effect 3 file structure, but am unsure as to where the HUD images are stored and how to alter them (if possible).
