I was doing the quest the drunkard gives you to steal the ale from the bannered mare in Whiterun and I was spotted. I had several followers with me, which as soon as the owner spotted me and unsheathed their weapons was massacred by them, as well as every guard, and somehow, the Jarl.
Now, if I go near it I'm attacked on sight, and even if I die, when I respawn the bounty hasn't lowered. There are still a few companions quests I want to do, and I have loot in Breezehome so I would really hate to have to avoid it.
Also my last save was 5 hours previously so I don't want to reload either.
I've also tried leaving for a while, but that didn't work.
Any clues as to what I could do?
I tried gong back and I was arrested. The Jarl's still dead though.
You never respawn in Skyrim, the game reloads to the last save, so your bounty will naturally not decrease. You should eventually be tracked down by a bounty hunter and get the chance to repay your bounty + 20% for his troubles. It should, but is not guaranteed, to fix the problem. The death of the jarl could be problematic in the long run, however, if he is indeed dead.
before going back to Markarth (so I would not be attacked anymore) and Farkas is no where around. I do not want to look for him in the museum because that will start a huge mess again. I have also looked back at Whiterun (his home) and he is not there. I have tried to ask other people to follow me like Vilkas, etc, and they say "looks like you already have someone with you". I have tried all of the techniques: Wait a week, fast travel, go to their home. I can't load the game before it happened though because I do not want to do all of this quest stuff again. Any suggestions?
Possible Duplicate: How do I find my follower if and when they leave me? So I became the thane of whiterun and got my first companion and she traveled around with me until I got bored and started killing the whiterun guards. I accidentally took on the jarl and his men. After winning and running away, I couldn't find her anymore. I wouldn't care but she had 3 dragons worth of bones and scales on her. I didn't tell her to stay anywhere either, any suggestions on where I need to look? I've also conquered whiterun for the stormcloaks, will that prevent me from getting her back?
So, thinking of doing the stormcloak questline, but I really do like Jarl Balgruff, he's cool. Thing is, despite being a thalmor hater, and talos worshipper himself, he still gives the axe back and you're forced to invade Whiterun and depose him. Is there a way to stop that decision and get him to keep the axe, thus joining the stormcloak cause without bloodshed?
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, I bought a horse in Whiterun because I needed to go Ivarstead and didn't want to go on foot. While in Ivarstead, I was arrested in an inn. I paid my bounty and ended up in Riften, and my horse is no longer with me. I have no clue where it is now. Is still at Ivarstead or somewhere else?
Possible Duplicate: Skyrim Very Long Load Times! I have turned off the auto-saves due to the fact it takes about 7-10 minutes to do so. Even going through a door or fast traveling still takes forever. This is making me want to not keep playing for that reason. I cleared my cache and also deleted all my saves exept for 2 but nothing helps. This all started when I got the update for the game back in January. Please anyone one, what do I do???
I have finished the game in ME3 and want to import this Shepard into a new game, will I still have the original finished ME3 save there to go back to? I have finished the game on insanity but forgot to save Jack so need to go back and do that, but don't want to to the whole game again, I just want to get the achievement. However, when the new DLC comes out with the extra bits on the end, I also... and all is fine. Still have the original, unchanged. I just now have 2 saves with the same name, but the date is different so that's how I can tell them apart. You can also change your appearance
I joined the Stormcloaks only for the ability to gain a Trophy (PS3) but figured I would continue with the quests for the hell of it. When I found that I had to attack the town of Whiterun, I quickly decided that continuing the quests was just not going to happen with me, so I've decided to stop doing them all together. But, I wondered if there was someway I could just "Give up" on the whole operation. Or if I just have to ignore them. I don't want to attack Whiterun, but I also want to get this blasted [Jagged Crown] out of my inventory.
I opened the technic launcher and go on the tekkit main, then I go and click on that, it loads up then takes me back too choose again, why can't I go on that mod pack? I have tried reinstalling it but nothing happened.
I'm trying to play Skyrim on my PS3 but since it said I have to press the "X" button to go to the main menu it doesn't work, even when it worked my controller won't listen to me because it just made me walk into a wall. So I pressed the start button and it started working again. But then when I tried to press "O" it wouldn't go back into the game. BUT it only happens on skyrim and sometimes works for a amount of time only.
