I'm wondering if it's possible to reload after opening the chest, (such as by quitting the game from the PS3 menu) and still keep your Golden key. I know you won't be able to keep the weapons you found inside, but will you be able to keep the key, or is it tied to your account and lost permanently the moment you use it?
I ask because I don't want to open the chest and find a shotgun and a pistol, and be stuck with really nice weapons I detest, but I'm afraid that if I test it I could lose the key AND the weapons by exiting the game without saving.
Just wondering if anyone had tried it.
The game is saved right when you use the key so you can't save your keys that way.
I found that out the hard way when I first opened the chest with my key (when I didn't want to yet), restarted (without picking up the loot) and found out I lost my key and had no loot.
Possible Duplicate: What is the Golden Chest? A pop-up says I have a golden key. Do they only work with the chest near the fast-travel station in Sanctuary? What kinds of weapons/items does it spawn? Possible Duplicate: Skeleton key. Return or keep? I heard when you take the Skeleton Key you will be kicked out of the Thieves' Guild. So I want to make an objective decision on whether or not I should take it. How does your relationship with the Thieves' Guild differ if you don't take the skeleton key vs. if you do take it?
Here's my problem; I'm in the Trolley Combat section of Chapter 4. I am just past the part where you see the Panzer for the first time and then there are a ton of people on the left shooting at me... load from the last checkpoint my trolley is in the middle of taking a huge hit (I guess from the Panzer). That leaves my trolley incredibly weak and after only a few shots I am forced to reload. I am... to unlock the "Soft Touch" achievement (Disarm 10 wire traps), after disarming one more trap. I'll keep updating with cumulative achievements that I get so that a list of obtainable achievements after
When trying out Gaige, the Mechromancer class, I was trying out the Anarchy skill, which adds an "Anarchy" stack every time you kill or reload after emptying your magazine. It's supposed to lose stacks when you reload a non-empty mag or while you're in Fight for your Life. However, I found I constantly just lost stacks for no reason. Even after mapping my Reload key so I couldn't press it and not dying, I would randomly find myself with zero stacks. A friend playing in the same game with the skill noticed the same problem, but he was able to gather many many stacks, mine rarely went above 10
Possible Duplicate: Can followers be used to keep stolen items from “the law”? I'm asking this because I started a new game to get stuff done that I didn't do before and I'm about to join the thieves' guild. For the starting quest I remember getting pinched for stealing something. I finished the quest for the Golden Claw and stole it back but I don't have anywhere to stash it. To stop it from getting taken when I get arrested, I was wondering if I could leave it on my follower and have it not be taken?
this setting get changed after a game update, or might this be a bug? I did some googling, but didn't find anything. (I have read about an issue where once you reach 100 saves, your saves are listed out of order, but this isn't the case, because the one autosave is at the top.) EDIT: To clarify, I am not playing Ironman. The game autosaves at the beginning of each turn, and I can go back and reload that game. My problem is that there is only 1 autosave (which gets rewritten each turn), rather than the 3 autosaves that were previously being utilized (so that I could reload up to 3 turns prior
Hakon, Gormaith Golden-Hilt and Felldir are the 3 heroes that help you kill Alduin at the end of the main quest. All three of them are "un-killable" as they just fall down and then stand back up once all their health is drained. However, after a whole hour of determination I managed to get them all by the waterfall on the left of the map. I was then able to drain their health and use unrelenting force which caused them to fall down the waterfall; eventually they went down so far that they literally fell off the map and disappeared. Now I'm wondering what will happen when I use any
The way reloading with the Hunter/Huntress works is that it takes longer to reload the less ammo you have. So with a clip of 30, it takes longer to reload if I'm down to 0 ammo than it takes if I'm still at 15 or so. I've started to level a DPS Huntress with some friends, and I'm wondering if there's any way for me to figure out when I should reload in order to maximize my DPS. To that end, I'm wondering the following: Is there tactical reloading for the Huntress? If I reload with 1 shot left, will it take a shorter amount of time than if I reload after completely running out? Do
soul (intending to upgrade flask later). After reading that cheating fire keeper souls messes up your game, I went back to the editor and replaced the soul with something generic. I hadn't read... the concept of how many refills you have. I dropped a random item and was able to pick it up. Does that mean I'm fine? Is there a way to make sure I do NOT have the "can't pick up items/keys" glitch...Does anyone have any info about what this will do to the game and the best way to handle it? I found it in the chest at Firelink Shine where you're supposed to get back important dropped items. I
