How do I buy Torchlight for Linux?

  • How do I buy Torchlight for Linux? user615457

I put off getting the humble indie bundle because I wanted to wait till I could make a large donation and I apparently waited too long. How do I buy Torchlight for Linux now that the bundle is over?

  • It's available via the Ubuntu Software Centre store.

Of course this is not too useful if you don't use Ubuntu, if this is the case you could always contact the guys at Runic Games they may be able to come up with a solution.

  • I have a bug in Torchlight Humble Bundle Linux. When I level up and want to select the upgrades the fonts of the whole screen change when it's run with sudo to blocks and when it's run without sudo they disappear. As you can see the faces also disappear but this is a known bug and it doesn't change the game's playability. But the disappearing fonts are really annoying. How do I fix this? I am using Linux Debian Wheezy 64 bit.

  • Steam for Linux is now in open beta, and the most recent Humble Bundle (Humble Indie Bundle 7) is available for Linux, Mac and Windows. If I purchase the current Humble Bundle, am I able to redeem the Steam keys on Steam for Linux? • I know that all of the Humble Bundle games can be installed on Linux systems. Is it possible to install and run them on my phone (a Samsung Galaxy Note), since I have a variant of Ubuntu (ARM-based) Linux installed? The minimum system requirements does not specify any requirements regarding x86 or x64 (or ARM). I haven't tried it yet since I don't want to buy the games then find out that it's not compatible.

  • I recently acquired Torchlight as a part of the Humble Bundle, and I've been loving it. (much better than the Diablo-3 disappointment, grumble grumble...) I have, however, been running into issues with mis-clicks on monsters. Sometimes I hit the monster when I meant to move, and sometimes I move when I meant to hit the monster. Looking carefully, it almost looks like the monster hitbox is defined by the square of floor that it's occupying rather than the monster's model itself. Is this correct? Can anybody tell me how the hitboxes are defined for mobs in Torchlight? Bonus points if I

  • I got Binding of Isaac for Linux through the Humble Bundle. It works fine, and sometimes saves my data (things found, challenges unlocked, etc.), but then sometimes erases them - seemingly at random. I've tried restoring what I thought was the save data (in ~/.macromedia/... I think), to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  • Does anybody know about the two locks on a single bundle? I am talking about the green lock price and the blue lock price. For eg, in the last Humble Weekly Sega sale, the Total War Shogun 2 was only given to those who donate more than $16. Will that game still be available to obtain after the bundle period by boosting the amount? I have already beat the average of $6 and got 11 games. But I really wanted Shogun 2. EDIT: This is the response I got from Humble Bundle Customer support. I think they should know more about the Humble Bundle Martin MAR 31, 2014 | 02:17PM PDT So does

  • I normally use Steam, but after purchasing the latest Humble Bundle I acquired several Origin games. My main hard drive is a 128GB SSD, but it's is almost full. I like to keep a few games I'm playing on there, and the rest installed on my 1TB secondary drive. In Steam it is simple and easy to select a game and chose which hard drive to install it to. Is there a way to do this on Origin? The only thing I've found so far is this: Seems a little OTT for what should be a simple procedure.

  • I got the Day Z mod with my copy of Arma 2 in this week's Humble Bundle and I was wondering; is the modification of Arma 2 version compatible with the standalone release of Day Z? Am I able to play with people who have the standalone release with my Arma 2 modification release?

  • I purchased the humble indie bundle 2, downloaded braid, and installed it. Since the bundle is now available on Steam, I am now downloading the Steam version for achievements etc. Will the steam version use the same save as the non-Steam version? Related: If I have the non-Steam version of a game and the Steam version, is it possible to make Steam only redownload changed files? Not a huge issue for the Humble Indie games, being quite small in size, but it would be handy for something like UT3 if I activated my key on Steam.
