In the new Android/iOS app/game/experiment called Curiosity, how long does it take for the cube to update? I did a ton of work in one section of the cube and I carved in my initials. Then I got on my wife's Android device, to see if I could see my work on another device. I couldn't find my stuff. In fact, it looks like an entirely different cube --- there was absolutely nothing in any area that looked remotely like what it looked like on my device. So I thought maybe it would take a while for my work to get updated. So we waited an entire day, and revisited the cube on both devices. Once again nothing looked similar at all. We zoomed into the exact same location, and waited for a few minutes in case it needed to catch up or something. Indeed, after a few minutes the cube DID refresh (bonus question: how long does the in-game refresh take to happen after you start the app?), but it was entirely different for both devices.
I already considered and checked to make sure that we were really looking at the same side of the cube, in the same location. We checked several times over the course of a couple of days, and the only conclusions I can come to are that either, A) the game is lying, and just randomly making it appear that the cube is being chipped away at by other people, or B) there is more than one cube.
What's the deal? I'm already aware that they have been having issues (coins being lost, etc.), but I have not seen anything regarding what I'm talking about.
In the rules of the competition (in game click the arrow, then "I")... Rule 5 states: "There is only one Cube in the world and the state of the Cube is stored on our servers. Subject to latency, the Cube appears the same to all those in the world taking part." Although my husband and I just got on and he sees two new pictures that he didn't see last night (they were red) whereas I still see them as red. Chalking this up to latency issues for the time being.
because I'm actually terribly under-leveled for how far I am in the game, so I'm getting EXP and money at the same time. Groudon is slightly higher than the rest due to being captured at level 45 and being... of research goes a long way. I didn't quite know what to look up before asking this question, and what I did look up returned nothing useful. But that link provides quite a lot of useful information indeed... defeating the Elite Four member (with the Amulet Coin), and after entirely. (After step 3 below.) The pictures were actually taken after the first attempt at this. I dumped my money on some potions
, but it still wouldn't work. After that, we tried both of us using the "Matchmaking" option at the same time, but we each got a different game, with different maps, of all bots. Is there something I am...I got TriggerFist not too long ago and am really enjoying the gameplay – especially the wonderful AI. I then wanted to play with my friend. Both my friend and I have iPad Airs with iOS 7.0.6. Bluetooth is turned on. I first tried the bluetooth multiplayer. Both my friend and I changed the dropdown box at the gamemode selection screen from singleplayer to bluetooth, then tapped next. Our devices
I have multiple iOS devices in one city and one iOS device in another city. I'd like to play Minecraft Pocket Edition with the other device but I can't seem to get it to work. Here are some more... WRT54GS wireless router I also have at my disposal a Windows 7 Home Pro laptop From what I read and watched, this was possible at some point, but all examples I saw were limited to MCPE v0.3. I have.... But, when a local iOS device has MCPE started and a map in play, the 4G-connected device cannot see it in the Join Game screen. I'm experienced as a web developer but not really experienced
Torchlight 2 is giving us excessively long load times in multiplayer on net. My friend and I both have high end PC's and it takes no time at all in single player to transition between different areas but for some reason when we play online, the game will take sometimes up to 3 or 4 minutes to load into the next area. Does anyone know why this is and how we can fix it?
Ever since 1.04 came out, I've managed to desync the game twice. I'm not 100% sure what I did to cause it in the first place, but when it happens, it looks like this: Symptoms include: Unable.... I'm entirely invisible. Anything that effects me shows the various effects where I'm supposed to be, but I can't see myself at all. I still take damage normally, though. Can't attack. Shift-clicking does nothing, attacking anything that's close enough to hit does no damage. Can't use special abilities. It's like it doesn't register that I'm using special abilities. Can't use Town Portal. Same
have one with HDMi. I also haven’t tried composite, s-video, or component yet. I have yet to try a different game or a movie. My TV is a 46” Samsung a650 LCD. It is 3.5 years old. Just before this started happening, the TV did something random. While playing XBOX, it decided to change input back to TV (through analog wire, no set top box). After I changed it back, a few minutes later... when I exit to the dashboard, so it’s not in game only. I have the XBOX connected directly to the TV to HDMI 1 port. I tried connecting it to HDMI 3 and same static noise was heard (picture great). I
system files so I can see every file, also, in the properties of the removable drive the PSP became it showed it had more memory than what the PSP was saying. I've looked up how to try and recover...I was setting up my PSP 2000 to my TV using a Component to HDMI Upscaler so that like all my other consoles, is connected to a single HDMI channel, how after that I had planned to start a new game..., install data and system config. Just as I was about to I found the first file in the list saying it was corrupted, I tried to look though to see what game it could have been but my guess
anybody have experience with using Sync without connecting to Facebook on Android? I haven't tried syncing it to other devices yet, so I'm a bit concerned that if I don't do so, and I have to reinstall the game, that the online save actually won't work! (And yes, I know the obvious answer would be to use Facebook sync, but each platform is different, and Android may be doing something else.) ...So I still haven't linked Facebook to TDS, partially because I don't want to give any more information than I have to, among other things. Every now and then, though, when TDS crashes and I restart
-- more paranoia than a security issue, I'm aware. Nothing of mine is outside of my home directory though, so it shouldn't affect anything. Thanks in advance to anyone with any insight, and to anyone else who read everything. =] P.S. I tried tagging this as the-ship, but I have less than 300 reputation, so it will not let me. I searched for other tags, but found nothing relevant. ... extent, and have been doing so on our community's server for a couple of years now, and I'm familiar with the newer stuff since the switch from hlds to srcds, though I don't think the latter applies
