There are some effects in the game which remove a champion's sprite from the map, rendering them untargetable for a moment, such as Elise's
Rappel. Does the Summoner Spell
Flash do this as well, even just for a split second? Or is the champion always on the field and targettable at all times? In other words, does
Flash instantly place the champion at the target location such that there is no moment in time where the champion isn't on the map, or is there a moment when he doesn't exist on the map?
I ask because I was playing a game where I was getting double ulted by both Nunu and Morgana. My
Flash was up, but it wasn't enough to escape the range of their ultimates completely. I am wondering whether, if I timed my
Flash just right, if I could make myself untargettable for a split second and avoid the effects of one or both of the ultimates when they triggered (i.e., Morgana's stun activated or Nunu's ultimate blew up for tons of damage).
It does not make you untargetable at all, it just moves you instantaneously. The fact that plenty of abilities does not get cancelled by the target flashing is perfect proof of this.
It is practically instantaneous so the exact second you flashed would be hard to find out. An ability does follow you through the flash though.
No it does not. It just moves your character ~475 in game. However it does counter a few things;
For example, if you flash while blitz has his fist on you, you will not be pulled (Ezreal's arcane shift does this.) If you flash after naut pulls you, it sometimes negates it. If you flash while Naut uses his ultimate as someone like yi with the ability to be very fast, it will fizzle out after 5 seconds.
It will NOT stop autoattacks though, so if you flash on 2 hp with ashe's auto coming at you, chances are you'll die.
Some items, such as Zhonya's Hourglass, have an Active ability rather than a Passive one, requiring you to click on the item to use the ability. Some of them require rather split second timing, the hourglass in particular, whose ability is Places your champion into Stasis for 2 seconds, rendering you invulnerable and untargetable but unable to take any actions. 90 second cooldown. I know you can use Alt, Shift, and Ctrl for various hotkey shortcuts, but I was wondering if there was any shortcut for item usage (maybe Alt+1-6 or something?) that I'm missing.
you die but then you realize you won't make it in time so you decide to run away or even flash out if the timing of the game is crucial and you really don't want to die. You are only one hit and right before you flash the turret fires a missile which of course follows you to wherever you flashed. But before the missile lands on you and kills you, your teammate manages to kill the turret and when... though it landed after she died. Or a nunu snowball or any other locked spell with a short delay. I'm pretty certain you can't get damage from turrets if they get destroyed in the meantime but as I
is shared in a combo attack (it it doesn't), in my my succubus levels up by like 6 levels however when i did the same map but killed my fused enemy with my samurai she did it on her own and she went up by 12 levels, she was equipped with the same item so i'm wondering is if 2 characters go in for a combo and kill an enemy, since they both get exp is the exp split between them? ...i was leveling up some character in the ice map where every space is red with invincibility except for one green space, i combined all the enemies into one succubus and killed it at one stage i
): Here is that same image when the TV is not in 3D mode: It may be difficult to see, but the game went back to the split images (see second photograph) and the guide is just sitting in the center...I am playing Gears of War 3 in 3D. My problem is that the Xbox guide doesn't appear to support 3D. Does anybody know how to fix this? Enabling 3D in the Xbox settings doesn't do anything. Achievements come up the same way. Basically the game is 3D but everything built in to the system isn't. Here are some images: First, I do have 3D enabled in the Xbox settings: Next, take a look at what
I need to make a reliable random timer that powers a redstone wire and that is as small as possible. It should send about a pulse every second or half second, but obviously be slightly varied. It needs to never burn out (or fix itself when it burns out) and automatically turn on when the server starts up. I have tried to use a blink device, but I have found that those are very unreliable and are often predictable. The reason I need to make this is so that a player cannot go up to a wire of mine that is flashing, figure out the flash pattern, and create their own timer that just links
I played with a friend in split-screen mode and picked up a few skill points items while playing..After an hour or so we quit the game and I checked the Skill Settings. To my surprise, I found that I have 0 Skill Points !! Is there a specific way to make sure that the skill points earned in-game are not lost in split-screen ?? What if my friend got a skill points item while he is on a Guest account ??
and have turned off the Scorcher, before you trace your steps back up, there is a locked code door. Does anybody know if that door can be opened, what's behind it and where to get the code from? To help.... The door can be seen on the left side of the screenshot. Up on that scaffolding on the right is the button that you press to turn off the Scorcher. There is a second code door higher up with the code 342089 (which you get from the "Monolith soldier's PDA") that contains some supplies. That is not the one I am talking about. The code does not work here.
effects. This is why it translates to the 30 fps (I think) of YouTube better than 60 fps gameplay with every second frame cut out. I want software that does this for me from my 60 fps footage, using... trailers and gameplay videos? P.S. for amateur level recording, please see How can I record demos of my gameplay?. Why: This is primarily for professional trailers and footage from our indie game studio... recording my 60fps game, where you can feel the smoothness compared to other videos of the same game
, so finally reluctantly looked it up. It made sense in retrospect, but I have to say that I would never have figured it out on my own, unless I started a new save game (thus being able to remember... to find hidden platforms to get to as well as the skull artifact, which was my last artifact acquired. I have to admit that I finally just looked up the solution to the security question and the black monolith (sad day), however this brings me to... I have 32 gold cubes and 31 anti-cubes. I have (I believe) 3 heart pieces. The only two rooms that are not outlined in gold on my world map
