I've been playing The Sims 3 on my PS3 (I mention the specific system because the options might be different). Whenever I go into the Build & Buy menu and go into specific categories, the crap that it keeps re-downloading from The Exchange over and over is really slowing down my game and, frankly, it's kind of pissing me off.
I've looked through the Options menu and didn't see anything in there to disable it; the only thing that really mentioned The Exchange was a big Redeem Codes button which didn't look useful at all. Is there any way to completely disable The Exchange within the game so I don't have to keep turning my Internet connection on and off, or is disabling the Internet the only way to keep it from downloading things constantly?
I can't seem to connect my pokemon x game to my network, even though I have tried using both my guest network and my secure network. Both of them are WPA secured (I believe, I can't check right now, but will as soon as possible), but I was able to connect and receive the Torchic promo gift on my pokemon y game. I have attempted using a 3DS that had been broken (only the lower half of the top... confused over this, as the issue just popped up, seemingly overnight. I really want to claim the torchic ASAP, because the promo ends after December, and although that is a ways off, waiting until
Error message received: The Sims 3 Unable to start game Service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb) I go to my games on Origin and click play on The Sims 3. I have no expansions downloaded onto my computer yet, and am just trying to run the base for now. When I press play, it gives me the registration code and tells me the game will open in an outside launcher. Then, I get the blue screen with the plumbob and then the said error message appears. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Origin, and I tried deleting the contents from my The Sims 3 folder, but there are only two things
sounds, but I cannot find anything in the .cfg file to disable these sounds. How can I disable the machine sounds from IC2? My IC2 version is industrialcraft-2_1.116.364-lf, it is the most updated..., it is not. The only way to 'fix' this I can find is to disable the sounds, and I cannot find how to do that. Edit2: I found a post on a forum that mentions disabling the sounds in the 'Advanced Machines... original state. I have never had a config file behave this way and am completely stumped on how to prevent this from happening. I'm fairly sure that if I can get the config file to keep its edits
Recently I've encountered a problem. Well, it wasn't a problem at the beginning, but now my PS3 can't even start downloading a patch. What happened step-by-step: I booted my PS3 Started the game (Injustice: Gods Among Us) PS3 asked if I want to download and install the update I chose "YES" and waited At around 84% (or so), my internet went down. When it was back up, PS3 wasn't able to continue the download, so it was still calculating(and adding) the time remaining. After a while I turned it off (by holding power button) Repeated steps 1-4 again PS3 wanted to start downloading the new
This is a frequent glitch that happens to me. I will be scrolling by using WASD and then my camera will get stuck and keep scrolling. The only way I have found to fix this is spamming the WASD keys or toggling the pause menu repeatedly. This also happens when controlling vehicles. I will be using WASD in direct control, and the vehicle will continue to move in the same direction without my input. Toggling direct control off fixes this. I don't think this should be happening, and I'm not sure if it's my hardware or the game freaking out. I don't have this problem with any other game, so I
I installed sims paradise to my sims collection now it seems as if all my maps are gone. I tried to say new game but still the maps are gone and also the options in the option menu also dissapeared please help me if this is a bug please tell me at which site I can get a good patch to fix it.
I play sims 2 open for business on a shared computer which makes running a business difficult because I have to try very hard to prevent other peoples sims from buying expensive things which they can't afford or don't need (Which the respective player will be displeased with), this can also have adverse affects on the running of my business as well as their sims wallets. Is there a way to ensure only NPCs or non-user-made sims visit my business? Or is there another solution to this problem?
during actually game-play... Someone once suggested to me that I should go to every Empire and ask for missions on the off chance one gives me an Adventure Mission to do. Is that really the only way. I...So I bought Spore™ around 2 years ago, and the Galactic Adventures™ EP. Played all the way to the Space stage from Cell and was given maybe two mandatory Adventures to play through. But since then I have not found a single one. I even uninstalled the game out of pure frustration.. as it felt like I wasted my money on the EP. I have since re-installed it.((2 years later)) But STILL can not find
is automate this, so the only way out is to quit via the pause menu. That way I wont have to remember to hit this button every time. I'm playing on PC, and I've been through the game's configuration settings, but they only really provide some simple graphics/resolution stuff and keybind settings. Is there a config file that I can edit, or failing that a game mod or tool that exposes...I find it really annoying that (upon completing a Zone/Act) I am taken back to the level select screen by default. I feel that this breaks the continuity of the game, especially seeing as I can
