I am playing on Classic difficulty, and where I used to have three Autosaves for a mission, I now only have one (i.e. the same file is rewritten each turn, so I can't go back a turn). Did this setting get changed after a game update, or might this be a bug? I did some googling, but didn't find anything.
(I have read about an issue where once you reach 100 saves, your saves are listed out of order, but this isn't the case, because the one autosave is at the top.)
EDIT: To clarify, I am not playing Ironman. The game autosaves at the beginning of each turn, and I can go back and reload that game. My problem is that there is only 1 autosave (which gets rewritten each turn), rather than the 3 autosaves that were previously being utilized (so that I could reload up to 3 turns prior).
The reason I ask is because one autosave is not that useful in a mission; the game is saved at the beginning of my turn, right after one of my guys gets killed. With 2 or 3 autosaves, I can go back to the beginning of the previous turn, and hopefully avoid the doom.
I think I figured it out! Just deleted some of the oldest autosaves, and it started creating 3 per mission again! :D try it out!
when I exit to the dashboard, so it’s not in game only. I have the XBOX connected directly to the TV to HDMI 1 port. I tried connecting it to HDMI 3 and same static noise was heard (picture great). I... started this weekend and has never happened before. It happens when I’m in game (even when nothing is going on, so not related to sound fx), and it continues if I exit to the dashboard. I’m playing Mass... have one with HDMi. I also haven’t tried composite, s-video, or component yet. I have yet to try a different game or a movie. My TV is a 46” Samsung a650 LCD. It is 3.5 years old. OK, so here's a tricky question for someone with any knowledge in this department. I have been playing with my Xbox on a computer monitor for a long time because I have no Wired Internet in my room (don't own a wireless router). Now I want to put it back in my room and plug it into my TV. So this is where it gets strange. I have had problems with some HDMI cables lately so at first when I... turn it on, the swirly Xbox logo comes up and makes the sounds. So I assume I plugged it in wrong in the way or something on my TV. So then I go back in and try again and nothing happens. However if I
I want to remove most of the old save games from The Witcher that I'm constantly generating while playing (quick saves, autosaves, and manual save points) as I know I won't restart playing from these, and they take quite a lot of space* (20+ MB/save). Removing them from the game is nice because I get to see the thumbnail plus location plus save date, but it's a chore with many of them as you have to select and delete them one by one. So my question is: can I safely remove them from Windows Explorer, or will it raise issues later with the game (if there is for instance some sort of index
load from the last checkpoint my trolley is in the middle of taking a huge hit (I guess from the Panzer). That leaves my trolley incredibly weak and after only a few shots I am forced to reload. I am playing on Easy and have tried about 20 times, but someone always gets a few shots on me and that is all it takes. What I'd like to do is be able to go to the main screen and load the level from...Here's my problem; I'm in the Trolley Combat section of Chapter 4. I am just past the part where you see the Panzer for the first time and then there are a ton of people on the left shooting at me
I keep saving my game manually with the phone but it's a bit of a hassle. I've been told this game has an autosave that saves after every mission but this doesn't seem to be the case. How do I turn the autosave on?
section and talked to Keitner about the gas, I tried to kill the guards and turn off the gas but failed miserably and could never load a save after that. I am aware of the game freezing just before this point. I want to stress that I did not have that problem. Does anyone know a way I can load one of my saves? I've tried loading just about all 20 of my saves from the DLC. I've tried loading my...I've reached the fifth section of the Deus Ex:Human Revolution Missing Link DLC and now I can't load ANY of my DLC save files? When I select a game to load the screen goes black for a good 3 seconds
Possible Duplicate: At the end of the first mission on Mars, is it possible to catch the Cerberus agent? In the beginning of the game where you go after the prothean blueprints it is being sabotaged by Dr. Eva, she starts running away and you need to follow her. I started firering on her and I noticed her shield takes damage, but because I have to keep following her her shield recharges. Now the question I'm having is: Is it possible to kill her before she gets in the ship? So that she doesn't nearly kill Ashley?
I am playing the multiplayer online on the Xbox. I unlocked a sniper rifle I really like, then when I went back to play the next round the gun I unlocked was gone. I did not pick the gun up off of anybody. I unlocked it when I was promoted. Where did my gun go and how can I get it for each round I play? Will it keep disappearing for one game then show up again for the next?
My son is playing "Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure" on an Xbox360. Now - I know the game is supposed to autosave each chapter and in some other particular occasions. However, he got to chapter 8, turned off the game and no saved game was there. I also tried playing a couple of chapters, turning the game off and had everything reset. Before crying foul, I am quite sure there's something wrong with what I do. But I don't really know what: I play normally for a couple of levels, then press Play and choose Exit. When I restart the Adventure mode, I only have one option, to start a new adventure
