I am trying to play Guild Wars 2 with a guild mate and we're working through his personal story.
Many times this has worked seamlessly just by him trying to enter the personal story instance and me getting a pop up on my screen, with ten or so seconds to accept it. However, for the last few parts of his story I've not received an invite to the instance.
Is this due to certain parts of the story being solo only, or are we missing something more obvious than that?
When a party member initiates an instance, the game will ask each party member who is in the same zone if they would like to join in the instance. Any party members outside the zone will be ignored.
This is further detailed on the 'join' box that pops up for party members;
As detailed on the above, there are three party members, but the join instance box only lists one (in addition to the person whose story it is) joining the instance.
I'm trying to play Civilization V with my brother (who is on my network) and my friend (who is not on my network). I host a private internet game, enable 3 AI players, and invite them to the game. My brother can join without a problem, but when my friend joins it tells him that I disconnected (I still see him in the list but I do not receive his chat messages), even though I can still talk to my brother. It's like there are two different games going on, one with me and my brother, and one with my brother and his friend. If I try to start the game before my friend is disconnected (he

I've just started playing Legend of Fae and I'm trying to figure out which path I want to take in regards to the Spell Lantern Upgrades. However, I have no idea how many parts total I'll end up getting in the game. I don't want to end up with a less effective build because I've split my upgrades across 2 or more paths or the like. There does seem to be a Reset ability, but it also says it will cost one of my total spare parts in order to use. I can hover over each locked item and it will tell me the cost, but I'm unsure if spare parts are something that I can end up grinding
In regular (not Super) Street Fighter IV you could create player matches. You could make a player match friends-only, invite your friend, and play tons of matches. In Super Street Fighter IV, there are no player matches anymore. I can invite my friends if I create a game in endless mode or team mode, but not in 1v1 mode. Every time I try to click invite friend, it is always grayed out. Even if we create a party the option to invite party to game is also grayed out. How do I create a 1v1 match in SSFIV and invite someone from my friends list?
So far I've managed to make it fairly far through the main story with decent map completion without ever entering a dungeon, but while reading through all of the mails I've collected for completing various renowned and personal story quests I have noticed I've been collecting a variety of mails whose icon is a 'door' - I am assuming that these are dungeons. Looking at the map I have noticed I... follow on from a specific part of the story, and are these affected by the choices I make during my personal story?
My friend and I are trying to play Warhammer 40k Retribution together in campaign coop. When one of us accepts the others' Steam invite, the connecting player sees "Connecting..." then "Connection timed out". The other player sees no indication that anyone is connecting. We're on a lan, both connected to the same router. Both of us have version the latest version currently (3.12.05944), both of us have all firewalls disabled on our machine (though we're behind a NAT). The NAT does support uPNP. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I was wondering how to achieve the Golden Weapons and Clues in Max Payne 3. I tried it by choosing chapter 2, then I found all the weapon parts and clues but when chapter 3 was initiated and I quit, I seem to have made no progress in collecting them. Do I have to play through the story the "normal" way or was it because I had the infinite bullettime cheat activated?
I have completed the mission "Hard Answers for the Thieves Guild" story line but I think there might be a glitch. I've seen posts all over the internet with just about the same exact problem. She told me to meet her at the Ragged Flagon but she's not there, she's still at the Snow Veil Sanctum. When I went there she was glitched at the exit, I got her un-glitched and it did nothing! I play on the console (Xbox 360) so I cant break the quest.
How long can a guild name be in SWTOR? I am trying to determine a name for my group of friends, but we need to know how much room we have to work with.
