Does the Butcher item passive apply to pet and trap damage?

  • Does the Butcher item passive apply to pet and trap damage? Rapida

There are a number of champions who can summon pets in League of Legends. When I say pets I mean Malzahar's voidlings, Elise's spiders, Yorick's ghouls, Shaco's clone, etc.

Do these creatures also do increased damage if the champion owns an item with the butcher passive?

Does a champion's traps also do increased damage when they own a butcher passive? Examples would be Shaco's Jack in the Box, Nidalee's bushwhack (assuming it can trigger on monsters), etc.

  • I tested this with Nidalee for traps, then Malzahar for the pet. My runes pages and Masteries were both empty to make sure those had no effect on this test.

Both of these tests were done on the big blue golem at lvl 1 (0MR, 9Armor)

Nid's Trap damage (no machete) - 80(20 per tick) so normal damage since jungle creeps have no MR at the beginning.

Malz pet damage (no machete) - 20 each attack

Trap damage (with machete) - 88(22 per tick) so yes, there is a 10% increase there.

Pet damage (with machete) - 22 each attack, 10% increase here too.

Any other champ tests you want me to do, just leave a comment.

  • So, I main playing the bot lane, but I like to be capable in all positions. So what DOES make a jungle champion, a jungle champion? I know one key element is self-sustain, but at the same time, I..., and a couple others, like Volibear. I know Volibear's passive restores his health, but as it has 2 minute cool down, I don't consider it to be a sustain tool. After looking at Shaco and some other glass... levels of play. Please don't recommend things like jungle Leona or Jungle Sivir. So in general, I guess I'm looking for how to determine if a champion can jungle well. How big a factor is sustain

  • So my hunterdwarf has been out in the field, and he's killed and hauled back some chinchilla corpses to my butcher shop. The only problem is that when the corpses are placed in the butcher shop neither does it trigger an automatic butcher animal job, nor will it let me manually assign the job. If I manually assign it'll just give the announcement: Blah blah, Farmer cancels butcher an animal: Needs butcherable nearby unrotten item. As far as I can tell from the wiki etc. any animal that my hunters kill should be butcherable, so I have no idea why it wont let my dwarfs feast on delicious

  • In the new "Adventure mode" I just found a cursed chest where I thought 100 monsters would spawn. However there were no monsters spawning but The Skeleton King. How exactly does this work? Can bosses spawn randomly or only by triggering certain events? Also are there only bosses from the current act/region you're in or could let's say Diablo spawn when you're doing a bounty in act I? Another thing that would really interest me is how these event-bosses differ from their original ones. Do they have an increased (legendary-)drop-chance? Are they just the normal boss but weaker or stronger

  • I know that there are several types of resurrection skills in LoL. What do I mean by the "resurrection" term? Following skills and items can be categorized under the term "resurrection": Champion Passive - Aatrox Passive Item - Guardian Angel Champion Skill - Yorick - Ulti Champion Skill -Zilean - Ulti To combine all of this, all of the other skills and items should be used on Aatrox. I'm... second) With above assumption what will happen? Has anybody ever tried this? Note: If I forgot to mention any skill, passive or item that resurrects the applied champion please indicate them, too.

  • Quetzalcoatl has an interesting legendary ability: Locust Swarm and Haunt now deal their damage in half of the normal duration. Creeping Death is a new Witch Doctor passive that also affects Locust Swarm and Haunt: Your Haunt, Locust Swarm and the damage amplification from Piranhas last almost forever. The former is nice because the DoT damages enemies twice as fast. The latter is nice because the DoT lasts forever and you don't have to reapply over and over. If you have both, what is the end result? Does the DoT do damage twice as quickly and last forever? Is one of the bonuses

  • The item Tear of the Goddess has the UNIQUE Passive: Each time your Champion uses an Ability their Maximum Mana will increase by 4 Mana, up to a maximum of twice in a six second period; bonuses cap at +1000 Mana. When you upgrade it to Archangel's Staff, do you retain the bonuses gained? Or do you have to start over?

  • I'm playing as a Demon Hunter and recently I was looking at the passive skills when I saw Cull the Weak skill that increases damage against slow enemies by 15%. The question is: does this skill only work with the effects of the other skills(Caltrops, Rapid Fire with Web Shot rune, Entangling Shot, etc)? Or does cold damage on the weapon also count as slow effect for this skill? If so, then a 2-hand Bow with some cold damage, Archery, Cull the Weak and Steady Aim would give a nice +50% damage bonus.

  • If you have 8 people in the group (all with the same level, no pets), everyone gets exactly 1/8 of the experience points. Correct? What happens if one player casts a pet (e.g. a Druid)? Does this pet count as a 9th group member, so everyone would get only 1/9 of the total exp? (while the exp for the pet vanishes, of course) Does it depend on activity of the pet, too? E.g. if the pet is passive or if it’s doing damage? What if it’s passive but heals the group? Is the pet level relevant? And is it working the same for charmed pets (e.g. by a Mentalist)?
