I have a
125mhz simple Microsoft mouse and have been using it overclocked at
500mhz. However I seem to face a little mouse lag.
Is this possible? Can overclocking mice cause lag problems?
As I researched a bit into this, overclocking your mouse/usb port should not have any side effects on your system or mouse, this including any glitch or damage. But only if you did your over clocking correctly.
At 125mhz the delay is 8ms and at 500 the delay should be at 4ms.
But every mouse has its built in speed limit, overclocking it too 500 doesn't mean that it will achieve 500 for sure.
So the bottom line is, no, overclocking should not create mouse lag problems if you did it correctly.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is not working correctly with my mouse. I have an extra monitor, off to the left. When I play the game, the mouse is not 'grabbed', so if I look to the left, I'll see the mouse pointer come out into my second monitor (the view still changes as the mouse moves around the second screen). If I then click, the game loses focus and minimizes. If I'm hacking, I can't actually click Hack, as there's a weird offset applied to the mouse. If do I click Hack, number 4 is activated. I can't move the cursor right enough to click Hack. I can disconnect the monitor
When clicking on the lollipop tree on the lollipop farm, the icon changes. The possible values, when cycled, are *, cnd, !, +, ?, /|\, and ~. Does this have any in game effect other than some basic customization?

When I get to the torture scene, I'm prompted to hit left mouse twice to throw two punches at the prisoner. When it's time to jam my thumb into his wound, all is see is HOLD but no button prompt. I don't have any keys unbound and nothing seems to work. So now I'm stuck at this point. What am I supposed to press?
I was having a mouse lag issue in Dead Space, and I followed the useful instructions here which completely solved that problem. It introduced another problem, however, which is that the mouse sensitivity is very, very low even when the sensitivity bar in the options is turned all the way up. Luckily I have an expensive gaming mouse and I can increase the sensitivity on the mouse to make it playable, but it's still too low even after doing that. When I right click to aim, sweeping the mouse over a foot turns the view about 30 degrees. It's more playable than it was with the mouse lag
How can i increase mouse sensitivity in Skyrim? on the main menu the mouse cursor is sluggish in-game mouse sensitivity is too low Things i've tried: increasing Look Sensitivity in-game... Running in Windowed mode Turning off Steam's Overlay UI: Increasing my mouse pointer speed in Windows Note: My question is different from How can I sync vertical/horizontal mouse sensitivities?, which looks to make the poor mouse sensitivity equal in both directions. i want not poor mouse sensitivity. I have insane mouse lag in Skyrim. I have changed iPresentInterval=0 in Skyrim.ini file and bMouseAcceleration=0 in Skyrimprefs.ini But I still have mouse lag and the game is unplayable. What can I do?
I'm running System Shock Portable v1.2 and when I increase the resolution to 1024x768 or higher the mouse pointer speed slows down incredibly making the game nearly unplayable (I have to move my mouse 3-4 times to get the pointer across the screen). Is there some config file setting to increase the speed of the mouse pointer? I am using Malba Tahan's mouselook mod as well as Gulikoza's DOSBox build if that makes a difference. Edit: In XCYB.CFG I decreased the hmousemul and vmousemul to 1 which makes it playable but is there any other tweak that can be done to increase the speed
Is there a way to play Minecraft with only a keyboard? When I have free time I'm usually on my laptop. While I do have a mouse I can dig out, there's no surface to use it on. The touchpad is sort of ok, but I'd really much rather just map the mouse movement and button to the keys surrounding L, or whatever, and keep my hands in one position. If it's relevant, OS is Win7.
