I started playing Pokemon with my Android phone. I used my cartridge image with the RIN gameboy emulator. It's a port of the PSP one.
My save games (when uncompressed) have 70KB.
On Visual Boy Advance (which I'd like to play when not on my phone, and to do trades with myself :) uses savefiles that are 32KB.
Are those standard formats? Do I have any hopes of using one with the other?
I really thought every emulator would just make a binary dump of the sram or something :(
I can give more info on the contents of the files to try to identify the differences (if the sizes aren't a dead giveaway for the initiated). I'm also willing to spend some time to make a patch to the offending one (assuming at least one of those emulators simply dump SRAM).
Edit: I tried to extract 32KB (or 32,768 bits, exact size of the Advance Boy saves and dat dumps) from the end of the 70KB file and now Advance Boy let's me import the file as flash or battery state without errors. But it's the same as just resetting, nothing changes on the saved states.
The command below:
tail -c 32768 PokemonRed.android.stat | less > PokemonRed.android.sav
will now search for the header of the 32KB files into the 70KB one.
Here is the link for dumping save format.
The issue here is that Virtual Boy Advance likes to format it's .sav's differently than things like no$gba and RIN (Which I have on PSP, so I'll be using that as reference, they shouldn't be too different).
Virtual Boy Advance has an option in the "File" drop-down menu called "Import." If you're taking the actual save data, you'll select "Battery file" from the "Import" sub-menu. If you're trying to get a save state, load the state from file in the the "Load State" sub-menu of "File."
If it can't convert the RIN file, try doing an export in RIN, and if that isn't an option, I think that no$gba would be able to convert the RIN file into something VBA could read, or you could just use no$gba, though I definitely prefer VBA.
/Unity/WebPlayer/player/3.x.x/ in my user folder within my .wine folder. I placed the old files in a new folder in case I needed to revert back. When I reloaded firefox and went to Battlestar Galactica... they are referring to. If someone can tell me, we may be one step close to getting this game running. Update I removed the log files I had previously uploaded here. One was the from when I attempted... It ran beautifully and smoothly. Then I installed the United 3D browser plugin version 4.1.2f1 using Wine. I registered for the game and went to play it. However, it gave me this error when the game
) I'm monitoring the server's output/log to determine when the saving is off so I can create the backup. However, the server's response to my save-off command indicates it is ready, but when I go to make a backup, the world files are modified again, breaking my backup. So far, my only solution is to add a delay between save-off and backup, but surely I'm either missing something or I can report...Sorry in advance, this question could fall into 1 of 3 categories (server admin, gaming, or programming) I'm working on a personal Minecraft server for my friends and I, I'm having the server back
Today after an annoying problem with my PC I had to format it and reinstall everything. Of course I made backup of all my files but, as always it seems that I lost something. I use Visual Boy Advance, specifically a modification of it called VisualLink. I saved my files regularly using the virtual Flash ROM the emulator provides to save "in game". But now, after everything is done, all my files have been moved back, I was testing it and the save file is not recognized anymore. It doesn't show a corrupted message, it simply would not recognize the saved data. I'm not sure how to fix
Question is about KOPP +1 Edition, not KOPP. Where are the save files located? -- this one didn't help. I bought KOPP+1 for my Android 2.3 device. Played it for a bit, made 3 save files. I just upgraded to an Android 4.2.2 device. I moved KOPP+1 over to the SD card and put the SD card in the new phone. When I open KOPP it can't find the save games. I've searched for files using the file browser named "knights" and not found any files. But searching for "seesmic" did find files, so I know that's working. How can I find my old save file and get it working on my new phone?
Does anyone know the save file location for the PC version of Gridrunner++? There have been a few versions of Gridrunner released by Llamasoft on the PC. My question is specifically about Gridrunner++. Many thanks in advance!
is it? All I can find online is a mention of an update for the PC version, and a 6 GB update for the Xbox One2. 1: Press the OPTIONS button and select "Update History" to view a game's update history. 2: Pretty sure I didn't download such a huge patch on my PS4; not when it only took 3 seconds. ...I just bought Thief for PS4 and installed the first update. Curious about what the first update includes, this is what I saw1: Following features are added: - Super feature - Bug fixes
I downloaded a pre-made Minecraft save-file to explore, and it worked really well. However, when I tried using the time set, gamemode, or any other console command, I get the error You do not have permission to use this command. So there is obviously some sort of permission lock in the save file that doesn't allow me to use console commands. How can I disable this lock and enable commands?
My primary save file is currently on my Wii U. Out of things to do when out of the house, I decided to make another save file on my 3DS. After playing for a bit, I wondered if it was possible to merge the two separate save files into one, using the transfer data program. Is this possible or would one save file overwrite the other during the transfer process?
I've found a thread that explains how to do it. It involves simply downloading a couple of files, placing them in the appropriate folder and running the game. However, I can't make it work on Linux. Naturally, I've adapted the instructions and placed the files at ~/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Monaco, but I can't get this to work. I also have an Xbox 360 wired gamepad plugged in. I have tried setting it as Player 1 or Player 2 and keyboard as 1, 2, 3 or 4, but nothing seems to work. Actually, I'm starting to think the thread solution is not gonna work at all because one of those
