I'm considering picking up Street Fighter IV on PC, and I'm wondering: Does the networked multiplayer allow PC users and PS3/Xbox users play together?
No, Street Fighter IV does not offer cross-platform multiplayer.
However, Capcom has, for certain events, hosted cross-platform multiplayer matches for a limited number of selected players. (PS3 vs. Xbox360)
I'm trying to sign up for the Shoryuken forums to discuss Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and the registration page asks me who the final boss of Street Fighter IV is to prove I'm not a computer. I've never played that game, so I don't know the answer.
I just got Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition on PC (note: not to be confused with Street Fighter IV, which is a different game). When I go to "Challenge -> Trial", it says: Trial Mode is not compatible with Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition. The game will temporarily switch to Super Street Fighter IV Original. My questions are: Does SSF4AE also contain the SSF4? Is it possible to switch between the Arcade Edition and the Original? How? Do I need to unlock it? Remember, since I just got this game, I haven't unlocked anything and I don't even know what
Just playing Street Fighter IV on the iPhone and lost to Dee Jay using Sagat and received the following taunt: "They say you are the king of tigers. Now I know why." I don't understand how this is supposed to be an insult, 'king of the tigers' sounds like a cool thing to be called, but why would it be appropriate if I just lost?
In regular (not Super) Street Fighter IV you could create player matches. You could make a player match friends-only, invite your friend, and play tons of matches. In Super Street Fighter IV, there are no player matches anymore. I can invite my friends if I create a game in endless mode or team mode, but not in 1v1 mode. Every time I try to click invite friend, it is always grayed out. Even if we create a party the option to invite party to game is also grayed out. How do I create a 1v1 match in SSFIV and invite someone from my friends list?
In Street Fighter some characters are considered stronger online, compared to offline play. Some examples in Street Fighter IV are Dudley and Blanka. Other characters are considered worse online. Some examples are Ibuki and Sakura. What makes these characters stronger / weaker compared to online / offline play?
I'm playing the PC version of Street Fighter X Tekken, and I'm curious to know if the unlockables differ from the console version.
I cannot seem to be able to play Super Street Fighter 4 on PS3 without having to set up an account with the playstation network. Is this true? How can I play super street fighter 4 without setting up a PSN account?
How to play Street Fighter 4 for PC on LAN?
I remember the first Street Fighter, Sagat was a boss where he got his chest scar from Ryu's finishing Shoryuken. But in which of the Street Fighter series did Sagat first become playable?
