I am using dolphin to play this game and I cannot see a difference between tiles that have been watered and tiles that have been not watered that day.
The blue tiles have been watered (at least I think they have been), the red ones not. But there is no visual difference as opposed to the Playstation version of the game.
How can I tell if I watered a tile successfully?
I've been playing Civ 5 for a week or so now, having grown up playing the entire Civ series. The one thing that is driving me absolutely nuts: I can't figure out how to get shading over the revealed-but-outside-of-my-view tiles. I'm used to these having a dark tint to them, or something that indicates that I have explored, but, can't see it. I've seen various screenshots that show a lovely dark tint to these tiles. Any idea what setting I need to change to make it easier to determine what I can and can't see? On the image below: That's my city border in the upper right corner
In Fall From Heaven 2 there is a spell called Vitalize that upgrades terrain. However I've noticed it's not always available, and it doesn't tell you what you're upgrading the tile too. What tile types does vitalize upgrade, and to what tiles?
I started a game of Civilization 5 (BNW + G&K) and early on in the game I discovered a natural wonder called Cirro de Potosi, which is a mountain. When I discovered it, the advisor popped up and said that I gain happiness and get a benefit if the tile is worked (in this case +10 gold). I settled my second city right next to the wonder and I don't appear to be getting any benefit from this tile. How do you get the benefit of natural wonders that are mountains? I can't assign citizens to the tiles and I am right next to the thing, which means it is within my borders, but looking
Most maps have 2 event tiles, identified by sparkles or dots on the tile. If a unit stands on one of these tiles, they may get more experience, weapon proficiency, or an item. At what point (map start, tile activation) is the type (and exact item) of the event tiles generated?
tiles until the villain wakes up. You get AP by making tile matches. I think villains get AP by making tile matches. But how do minions get AP? In a pure minion battle (i.e. you downed all villains...Lately I have been playing Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign by D3 Publisher. I'm playing it on Android but it is available for other platforms. When playing the single-player missions, there are two... and clearing the board of green? I have found a few guides, "walkthroughs", and wikis discussing the game, but I haven't found any discussion of this.
I've been playing words with friends for awhile now and have made some pretty high scoring words but what's the highest scoring word, ignoring bonus tile placement? What about including bonus tiles? Depending on where letters fall and how bonus tiles align these might not be the same word. I'd also like to know if these words are only possible with the addition of letters already on the board? If so please explain.
"Midnight Leaves" is a puzzle-game which takes part in the IGF 2012. A demo is available on the author's website. I am currently stuck in World 2-4. The aim is to "release" all the yellow leaves, and we are allowed to move only once on each tile, except if we have special power-ups. The main character is the yellow square. The dark grey square is a power-up which allows to move several times on the four following tiles. The circles launch fireballs after four steps. The red cross cancels any power-up. And there is this new power-up with a crossed-out leaf. It seems I cannot understand
I have minecraft server with a bunch of mods: here the list. The thing is after I explored a big part of world my server began to lag (before that server worked good). When I replaced world with old version of the same world (before exploration and with the same set of mods) lags disappeared. So, I think, I found something in the world that causes lags. How can I find that lagging region...:24:11 [WARNING] Loaded Chunks: 336 Active Chunks: 154 Entities: 127 Tile Entities: 860 16:24:11 [WARNING] Entities Last Tick: 83 16:24:11 [WARNING] Tiles Last Tick: 660 16:24:11 [WARNING
This stems from the comments on this question. Imagine two cities, A and B, close enough that one can work the tiles that were acquired by the other (either through purchasing them or through cultural expansion). If a tile was acquired by A, and I manually select the tile to be worked by B, does the tile transfer "ownership" to B? So that if B were captured, the tile would go with it, or if A were captured, the tile would stay with B?
