I enjoy the cameos from different video games and am wondering if these unlockable characters are available to be used in story mode, just like in Super Meat Boy.

How do you do battle mode in Skylanders Swap Force? I go to the main menu and it says story mode.
I finished to story mode and saved Gary. I now want to start a new game with the perks of completing the story. How do I do that?
The Do It... achievement requires you to get five stars performing the 70's craze song while in story mode. Somehow, even when playing on Easy, I managed to only get four stars (I got every other craze song achievements though). Now since the craze song is not a complete song, it doesn't actually appear in the song list after you've finished the story mode. My question is: how do I unlock this achievement now that I have finished the story mode? Is there a way to reset the story mode progress or is the partial song hidden somewhere that I don't know about?
I haven't played the story mode, and I was just wondering how far into the Story Mode the "Ambush" section is. For example, "there are 10 other sections before", etc.
. The final piece of the puzzle for me is Tollifer's Last Stand. According to this post on Blizzard's forums it is in Westmarch Commons. This video shows it being completed, but does not go into much detail. I have performed a full clear of Westmarch Commons many times both in Adventure Mode and in Campaign Mode. I have seen every other event multiple times by now, but not this one. As the video advises I have been very diligent to keep my eyes peeled for doorways with the sparkly body and on the minimap for the dot. Nothing. How do I complete this achievement? Do I need to be on a certain mode
it... but I keep coming back for more. Trouble is, I want Riku's story. I love playing as Riku, and I love the limitation of the fixed decks. Sora's story is boring most of the time, and the deck building...... holy hell, Riku's Dark Mode mechanic is so much fun to play with, and the restriction of the fixed decks really makes you work your battling skills... So yeah. I have a new copy of KH:CoM. Is there any way at all I can unlock Riku's story without spending hours stumbling through Sora's?
I've been having a blast playing through Mortal Kombat's story mode. However, I often find myself needing to pause the cutscene I am currently viewing and have yet to find a way of doing so. My current "solution" is alt-tabbing and killing the game before the cutscene plays through, but that is hardly convenient (nor is it actually pausing). I am playing on a PC, in case that matters.
In Orcs Must Die!, in both the spellbook and upgrade page, there are extra slots left over after finishing the story on War Mage, and after playing through a few levels of Nightmare mode, it doesn't seem that there are any new traps/weapons coming. Are these spare slots left there for future DLC, or is there a way to unlock these new weapons that I'm just missing?
