Somehow it feels like horsepower has a greater influence on PP than weight, obviously because horsepower will always means higher speed and better accelerations at higher speed, but it won't really efficiently describe performance on very low speed raceways like eifel kart or autumn ring mini.
I also noticed some cars have better "base" PP than other cars with the same horsepower/weight ratio, but I don't really know how one can properly calculate cornering performance, since it depends of vertical and horizontal center of gravity, car length, the size of tires (type of tire has nothing to do with PP), stability in corners, suspension, etc: any car will perform differently.
I guess it's of the form
((horsepower^constant1)/weight)*constant2 + constant3.
constant1 being between 1.2 and 2.
Oddly, I also noticed increased power on very PP cars does not increase PP so much.
The other thing, I don't think PP precisely describes the exact potential for a car to outperform other same-PP cars on the same raceway, since weight will play a more important factor on slower tracks than faster ones, especially with comfort and sport tires.
What I'd love to know for sure, is how to rate certain tracks for either speed or slow cornering, so I can choose car for the same PP limit, either a lighter or more powerful car.
In Burnout 3, the Road Rage game mode, you are tasked with busting other cars. In racing, you are tasked with getting to the finish line fastest, and you can also take out cars. Each car has a weight value and a speed value. My question is, what is the best blend? What gives you the most destructibility while at the same time making sure you don't come in dead last speed-wise? (I am not looking for an opinion; I am looking for a specific speed and weight in which I can still catch up to the lead car, but still take out other cars without being slammed off the road)
Currently when running shuffle racing in Gran Turismo, you can set the "base" performance points from 300 to 500 at 20 point increments. This controls the cars that are randomly assigned to all the racers. At 300 points there appears to be a very limited handful of cars available with the same half dozen of cars making a regular appearance. Available cars also become limited as the setting approaches 500. Does anyone know which setting gives the greatest variety of available cars? Is it PP400, or higher than that?
In NFS Mostwanted i want to know the max speed ever achieved by some car. we can know for races as they maintain max speed details but i want to know for lifetime max speed achieved. By the word life time means that particular car have ever achieved its maximum speed, either in race or in Cops chase or in Bounty gain or in pursuit Example : I've seen Max speed of Lamborgini Gallardo 374 Km/h on record in race but i have achieved more of it some thing above 385 in bounty and also i want to compare with other cars max speed Is there any way to get it, any plugin< crack or any hack???????????????
In Gran Turismo 3, there are two separate Mitsubishi "GTO TWIN TURBO" cars available to purchase. They have exactly the same price, the same engine, and almost all of the specs are identical. Besides having different graphics in the list, one is 25mm longer, 30kg lighter, and is available in green rather than blue. Is there something I'm missing, or are these really nearly identical? Is there any advantage whatsoever of the heavier car? EDIT: I just noticed that another Mitsubishi car has a double. There are two "LANCER EVOLUTION VI GSR Tommi Makinen Edition" cars which are identical
In the Supercar Masters Series I can chose (among others) between the SRT Viper GTS and an Audi R8 V10. Without any upgrades, the Viper performs best. But the Audi has a higher initial performance Rating. Will upgrading the Viper be enough to finish this series, or will I not be able to reach the needed performance rating for the last races? Is the Audi a competitive car in any other series which would make it more useful to upgrade the A8 now instead of the Viper?
It seems to me that tuning cars for the standard race tracks in Forza is relatively straightforward: Depending on your needs and your base car, optimize for various parameters. (For me, weight... with gearing, suspension, tire pressure, etc., but we all feel woefully ill-equipped to actually know what we're doing. Any advice on tuning setups, notably for those three cars? Yes, I know I can buy setups on the marketplace, but I'd rather actually learn something and know what I'm doing. Plus the good Datsun setups are all like 50,000 credits, and I need those credits to make sure I have cars
and 1.7.10 has written for the OpenInputDesktop. It's more efficient not to recompile wine with the mentioned patch as it will do the same thing as is only with a smaller runtime stack. So I need to try... anyone know what is causing the problem? Has anyone figured out a work around? Update As per suggestion, I tried following the link given in the error details. The url changed since the problem.../threads/166844-unity-web-player-doesn-t-work http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/438965/auto-update-failed-1.html This link may actually prove to be helpful. car. However, since only police cars have radios, you won't come across any street crimes. So you can only drive around in them, but LA Noire isn't really set up to have any challenges that are based on driving. As far as I can tell, you literally just drive around a bit in them. Since I finished the game without ever even knowing hidden cars existed, and only once commandeered a car (and I don't think it was strictly necessary in that situation), I'm not sure I understand why I would want to ever drive any car other than a police car. Is there anything a player can do with a non-police car
don't know how to see my fps count (should I install fraps?). I recently had the idea to turn the resolution down to 800x600. In this mode the game works fine even with higher settings. Still I would...Just installed Cryostasis from GamersGate. I tried playing it but I can barely move. I have set everything at low or off, including Physx. I have turned off and on hardware acceleration (is it better on?) and nothing. I once tried to set the vertex shader to 2.0 but the game would just start with a black screen (had to manually change the config file to get it starting). I have a more than
