This article on Bulbapedia says that "Released Pokémon cannot be found again in the wild".

Does it mean that (a) only the very same pokemon you just released, with all its stats, learned moves and the nickname it had when you released it won't be found anywhere in the game (wild) so that you won't ever be able to encounter it again and re-capture, or (b) does it mean the whole pokemon type will be "blacklisted" from suddenly appearing in the wild to attack you?

I haven't ever released a pokemon when I played, so I don't quite understand what that rule means.

  • The former.

Once you release a Pokémon , it is essentially deleted from the game.

  • Possible Duplicate: Can I safely sell everything marked as “Treasure”? By the name of the item it sounds like some health restoring item, but attempting to select it in the items menu does nothing. Then again, it's the only item I've ever had so far, so I can't tell if I'm doing it wrong anyway. Aira will buy it for 2.5k pixes and the item is described as a treasure, but can this item do more than just that?

  • Because doing mini games and earning puffs takes so long, I would like to know if the rate at which your pokemon lose hunger can ever be reduced so that they will take longer to become hungry again. If I just feed my pokemon regularly, and will they eventually have a longer full period? Or will they always become hungry at the same rate?

  • Has anyone confirmed the spawn rate for golden bees? I found several threads at various forums, but they all boil down to "just buy one". I know I can buy them, and did in my file. However, my 6 year old son wants to catch one. He just caught his first shiny Pokemon, so he knows what patience means. I'd just like to be able to give him a number if possible. Regarding duplicate status: I don't believe this is a duplicate at all. I asked a specific question not covered by either the question or answer in the linked one. "It appears randomly" is not a spawn rate, and I thought

  • The achievement Group Hug reads Raised a Hero of each type to Level 70. After the game released on Steam, they released the New Heroes DLC, which gives you access to gender-swapped versions... Monk Initiate Apprentice Adept Huntress Hunter With that in mind, I need to know if I only get Group Hug for leveling the original 4 classes to 70, or can I mix and match for example, a Squire, Initiate, Apprentice and Huntress and still get the achievement? Or would I have to use all 4 from either the original group or the New Heroes DLC, by which I mean either leveling

  • Some Context: I recently started playing Hearthstone and now that my Mage is at level 10, I want to start leveling the other classes. My playing time is very limited, so I want to unlock all one-time quests as efficiently as possible. To do that, I want to level playing against the Expert AI to additionally unlock the hidden Quest which requires you to defeat all Expert AI opponents. I have lots of experience in TCGs, both similar ones (WoW, Magic) and others, but my card pool is still very small. Now I've found that I struggle a lot when playing against Mage with Paladin. This might just

  • % In this scenario: Is the Swing meter already set up for 96% to be the max or should I stop close to the bottom ~96%? Does this include the roll or the in-air only distance? Example 2 Lie: Rough 65% Club: 7 iron Aim Marker: Right on the hole and it says 87% Again if my understanding is the bottom of the swing is 100% and that number is 140yds, 87% of that would be about 120. So am I 120 from the hole? Now if I am in Rough 65% does that mean I need to hit a shot equivalent to about 184yds? So far so good, but now lets say there is a trap in front of the hole then I need to fly

  • Spoiler ahead. When you find Serrit in his own blood, critical injured by Sile and have a discusion with him, he mentions that "can't you see? We could have ended the Wild Hunt curse once and for all, stop the Omen of War" or something similar to that. Now, I find this affirmation quite interesting but unfortunately the game doesn't explain more. What does it mean? And most important, how did they intend to do that? Seems like a lie, since Letho admits that all their actions were done at the emperor's command to make the Northen Kingdoms weaker. But is it a lie? Are there any references
