I purchased the humble indie bundle 2, downloaded braid, and installed it. Since the bundle is now available on Steam, I am now downloading the Steam version for achievements etc. Will the steam version use the same save as the non-Steam version?
Related: If I have the non-Steam version of a game and the Steam version, is it possible to make Steam only redownload changed files? Not a huge issue for the Humble Indie games, being quite small in size, but it would be handy for something like UT3 if I activated my key on Steam.
I have now redownloaded Braid, and was not only given my old save file, but achievements based on my existing progress.
I downloaded the Humble Indie Bundle version of SSAS onto my mac (10.8.4), and every time I try to start the game I get the error ""sworandsworcery" is damaged and can't be opened". I have tried re-downloading it multiple times, but that didn't work. There is no "capy" directory in my library, so I can't edit the config.txt. I'd really like to know whats up. Should I email Humble Bundle? I have version 1.02 of SSAS.
I got Brutal Legend with the Humble Indie Bundle 9 pack, but it lags like crazy on the second scene (the one with the cults hitting the guy with swords).
Possible Duplicate: How to make sense of the Cave Story+ soundtrack in the Humble Indie Bundle 4 release? I feel bad for asking this but I'm new here and couldn't comment on the previous topic found here: How to make sense of the Cave Story+ soundtrack in the Humble Indie Bundle 4 release? I've added Wind Fortress and Halloween 2 into the mix as "Bonus" tracks. What I can't figure out... are there from the other sites, etc. Help? EDIT: Looks like I already answered my question. Sorry! "The Cave Story+ sound track included with HIB4 is a 44 track selection from this "new" sound track."
Steam for Linux is now in open beta, and the most recent Humble Bundle (Humble Indie Bundle 7) is available for Linux, Mac and Windows. If I purchase the current Humble Bundle, am I able to redeem the Steam keys on Steam for Linux? Will this allow me to download the Linux versions of these games through Steam, with Steam maintaining the games and keeping them up to date like normal?
A few months ago I bought Civilization 5 on AppStore but since then I'm using only Steam for all purchases. I've noticed that for example on Humble Bundle you can directly download the game or get Steam redeem keys. So I was wondering if I can get Steam redeem key also for Civilization 5 that I bought on AppStore.
Can I register on Steam my copy of Revenge of the Titans, obtained buying the Humble Indie Bundle 2?
I'm playing DD with a friend. We play "LAN" games (using Evolve), so I'm not logged into my GameSpyId account. I use the Humble version of the game, so I'm not logged into Steam either. The problem is, when I finish playing, turn off the game normally and then start it again, my character resets to level 0 and all items I have collected in the previous run are gone too. How can I fix this?
I got the Day Z mod with my copy of Arma 2 in this week's Humble Bundle and I was wondering; is the modification of Arma 2 version compatible with the standalone release of Day Z? Am I able to play with people who have the standalone release with my Arma 2 modification release?
I put off getting the humble indie bundle because I wanted to wait till I could make a large donation and I apparently waited too long. How do I buy Torchlight for Linux now that the bundle is over?
