I used to record gameplay of Lord of the Rings Online one year ago and everything worked fine.
Now I tried to record gameplay again, but only video is captured. The ingame sound is not recorded.
Has anyone an idea why the ingame sound is not recorded?
I can record sound from other games (Neverwinter e.g.).
Fraps Version: 3.5.99
Sound card: ASUS Xonar DGX
I tried different settings in the game concerning the sound options and I also tried different recording programs (Bandicam, Camtasia, MSI Afterburner) but the result was the same. I cannot capture the ingame sound of Lord of the Rings Online.
(Please let me know if this questions is more suited for another platform like SuperUser.)

I want to play GTA V and GTA Online, but I don’t have a supported console yet. Now I wonder which console (hence which GTA V version) I should buy (assuming I’m not interested in any other games on these consoles). What are the differences between the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 versions? I’m not interested in minor graphical differences. Instead: Any gameplay differences? Anything added/missing in one version? Any game mechanics differences? E.g. does the save system work the same? Any performance differences? Is one version running more smoothly? Any online social differences? Ingame
I am having extreme frame drop issues when recording Minecraft with Fraps. I can record any other game just fine at 60fps and 1080p. Minecraft will normally run at 120+ fps, but when I record... (Liquid cooled) Radeon HD 6870 CrossfireX (Disabling XFire doesn't help) 16Gb DDR3 RAM @ 1666Mhz (4Gb allocated to MC) 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD (This is what I record to) 128GB Samsung 830 SSD (This is what my OS and MC run on) As you can see, my PC is no crappy computer, this is why I'm so frustrated with my Fraps issues. Please Help! Edit: Yes I do have optifine. Double Edit: So after
Possible Duplicate: How can I record demos of my gameplay? I have looked at a few choices: I liked Fraps, but it's $37 for the full version. dxtory was good but the video quality wasn't clear. I wasn't able to use virtualdub because i did not have the hardware to go with it. Camstudio is only for windows xp. My question is, is there a free screen recorder that has no limit on how long a video is that can also record audio and have a clear video quality? The quality doesn't have to be HD, but not horrible either.
Can anyone tell me what this icon is actually showing? It's for the following achievement http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/lego-lord-of-the-rings/achievement/73761-----And-away-he-goes--Precious-.html Original: I've highlighted what I think are eyes and I'm guessing is the Ring, but apart from that I can't work it out. It looks kind of like Squirtle.
In Lord of the Rings Online, how far into the game do you need to get to create a fellowship with different races? I see that dwarves and elves seem to start in a far different area than humans and hobbits. I would like to make a new character who is a dwarf and play with friends who are planning to make humans and was wondering how long we would have to play seperate before we could team up and travel together?
Possible Duplicate: How can I record demos of my gameplay? I've been playing Portal 2 on PC, and apparently I can only play it on fullscreen. I use Camtasia, and I wanted to record something, but all I get is a black screen (but the audio is recorded well). So how can I record the game video?
I've decided to try to review matches to improve. I've already started using replay clients (like BaronReplay) to rewatch matches, but that gives me an omniscient perspective. To try and see gameplay from my view, I've decided to use FRAPS to record it. However, when FRAPS is running, I can't seem to scroll the view by moving my mouse to the edge of the screen. I normally play in Windowed, but I tried changing it to Borderless and Full-screen with no results. This is a big issue since I can't really play without the ability to move the camera with my mouse. How can I move around the camera
I use Fraps when recording my gameplays but it chops off like 5-9 FPS and makes the recorded video laggy. Is there any tool I can use to record gameplay without a resulting loss of much FPS? Added Bounty.
